Yes, another one of these "Last thing you X" threads. This time, as the title states, what is the last time something funny, random, or utterly absurd happened in a game you were playing?

Like all the other similar threads state, name the game so we can minimize the asking about it.

Provide a screenshot, video, or whatever of it if you want or can; or paint a pretty picture with words describing what went down.

Oh yeah, and if it was part of the game to begin with (storyline, funny scene, whatever was added by the developers, easter eggs); they do not count. It must be an absolutely random occurrance that was not normally part of a game (or maybe was part of the game, but gone horribly right? Like an unintentional abuse of physics made something that normally shouldn't happen happen), and it caught you off-guard (Like the random plane crashes in GTA: San Andreas; provided the crash did more than just surprise you). Multiplayer antics also count, as well as certain organized events (especially when they go wrong).

GMOD antics/incidents are exceptions, and may be listed.

EDIT EDIT:
For reference of what I mean (but not limited to):
http://www.reddit.com/r/GamePhysics/

To start, this just happened, and gave me the idea to start this thread. ARMA2 has surprised me from time to time; from sniping helicopters out of the sky with a rifle (lucky shot hitting the fuel lines or killing the pilot or all the troops inside just before they disembark, and the dropship takes off with the corpses still inside) to the legendary Battle Bus (organized event regarding a hell of a bus armed to the teeth).

My moment happened when jumping into Armory Mode in Operation Arrowhead. One of the missions required me to take down a target in a camp (random goal, random settings. "Surprise Me!" mode in full gear); and as the layout goes, I have freaking jets orbiting the combat zone. Apparently this time, a pair of them spawned in relatively the same area as each other, and crashed right near my target area doing a formation nosedive, which gave me a bit of a tactical advantage of some cover (died unfortunately, but still). What gets me is if this happened in reality, what the hell were those pilots thinking; doing formation flights with no throttle?

EDIT:
Happened again, except 3 jets now. What the hell is going on?

So I was axis Brazil in Hearts of Iron 3. It was 1940 and I remembered somewhere that Britan would declare war on Germany by this point. So I mobilized my army and got ready for war. And then nothing. Nothing happened at all. It wasn't world war 2 so much as Japan declares war on the allies alone and then beat back all of them at once completely alone. It literally took until 1944 for me to declare war on on France and start the fun party times. Something tells me peace would have continued until the end of the game had I not been a war hungry madman. Also Japan never did pearl and America was halfway to the axis end of the magical triangle of alignment. Either Brazil played a very important part during ww2 or something weird happened during my game.

Hehe.

Not the funniest thing ever, but in Skyrim I was fighting some of the beginning bandits in the first ruin you come across. I was using two wimpy daggers for the fun of it, but one of my hits still managed to send one of the bandits flying a good ten feet upwards, landing perfectly on a bridge running over one of the entrances.

Playing Rollcage one day and a building ended up crashing down on me. The in game physics engine (it was a game from 1998) probably divided by zero and sent me flying wwaaaaaaaaaaaay up... straight up.

I was going up for almost half a minute and then falling for another 40 seconds or so.

Playing X-Com EU

Aliens attack my base... i love defending my bases with mass produced laser tanks so obviously i had a lot of those and some human recruit/squaddie cannon fodder whose main job was deploying proxy nades.
And then from the darkness a blaster launcher shell went for my squaddies but due to a strange twost of fate instead of hitting them it actually missed and hit the spot i was grouing my tanks.
Lost most of them...
But i managed to save the mase with the remaining 2 tanks and 2 squaddies.

Good bit of comedy on Team fortress 2 as a spy, I was on a trade server that is often a normal combat server with a lot of trading, ended up on a little sniper roost in the red base, which I climbed to from a pile of crates and a little spot to stand on be the guard rail, managed to get up there unseen, and stabbed three snipers, who were in a line, first the middle one, whom I shot, then the back one, who did not notice somehow...oblivious fool. Shot him too, good ol' enforcer, then stabbed the last one. And I decided to lurk there, every now and then one of them coming in and ignoring me disguised as a sniper, and would stab them, ended up dominating all three of them, and killed each of em about 7 times without dying before a medic and enemy spy started spoiling my fun, yet only one of the three snipers ever noticed me, even when I decided to not disguise just to see if they would notice, the third primarily because he got paranoid, and started shooting everything, still killed him a lot.

good old enforcer is great for dealing with low health attackers. This went on for about a half hour to an hour before they finally stopped coming up to my hideout, and so I went back to stabbing anyone unaware on the main battle area floor, it was hilarious from my point of view from just how oblivious they were to me camping them. Probably about doubled my points-in-one-life as spy record.

Started up a Byzantium game in 1405- after Byzantium gets some provinces, but before Italy becomes more of a powerhouse. "Greece looks weak," I thought to myself, "and even though Athens is guaranteed by Venice I can handle Venice from way over here." So I declared war on Athens.

I had correctly factored in the Venetian influence, and all their allies were one-province minors, except the one I missed when I was scanning the diplomatic information. That one was Hungary, a massive powerhouse sitting in the very center of a complicated alliance web.

In less than the first year I had seven or eight names sitting in the "you are at war with" box. Needless to say I was ROFLstomped as soon as they got their act together.

I'm playing Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade's campaign as the orks, right? So I send da orky boyz west into da chaoz boyz territory, which ends wid us orky boyz racin to blow up da enemy fort, wit da racers bein a big demon wun and a lot of chaoz boyz n der black wunz, against da orky boyz and der red wunz(dey go fasta!) and a big 'uge dinosaur ting dat orky boyz kan ride in.

I wait a few turns to upgrade my honor guard. Then Chaos attacks the province I just took.
I think,"Eh, this'll be another long, drawn-out altercation between two forces that i'll win because the area starts with the exact same buildings.

For a few minutes it seems to be headed that way. I muster up my forces, prepare a new Squiggoth, and get ready to assault their new base.

Queue chaos rolling up with uncountable space marines, uncountable daemons, one of the huge large daemon prince things, their commander, and at least nine defilers(I lost count after about that number).
Before I can even get a squiggoth, four fully reinforced and upgraded shoota boyz squad, a pair of fully reinforced Nobz squads, and four wartrukks.

Their forces covered half the map. I'm not even joking.

Here's a short one:
Playing spy in TF2, about to head off the battlements-
The heavy walking almost right in front of me takes an arrow to the face.
I immediately hit the 'g' button.
"You got blood on my suit!"

TF2 again, basically any time I play spy on 2fort. I have what I call, the troll combo.
It involves any decent revolver(maybe l'etranger), the dead ringer, and the spycicle.
Then I get into the enemy base and go between either side of their intel, all while stabbing, sapping, cloaking, and healing back up in the middle.

Now imagine a team where almost everyone is engineers.
And there's one obstinate little guy trying to set up in the intel.

Playing Skyrim.

I was heading off to do one of the Companions radiant quests, and happened to pass (with a wide berth) around Giant territory. I took no notice of them, and spent a few seconds smacking rabid wolves with a bound sword. Suddenly, I see EXTREMELY quck movement out of the corner of my eye. I turn towards the giants, and see the most hilarious thing in history.
A wooly mammoth had- somehow- managed to get launched directly upwards straight into the sky. It died on impact once it finally landed, and left me in stitches. I didn't investigate it, because there was a giant next to it and I didn't want to get my ass kicked.

Playing Battlefield 3 SP, one mission before the last mission.

TLDR: the only villain that doesn't get a well-deserved bullet in the head is the hack who wrote the campaign script.

Playing L4D2 on the... Dead Center, I think, map. The survivors had just gotten to the area with a ton of chain link fences with the "ALARM WENT OFF BEEYETCH YOU BREACHED THE PERIMETER."

We got a tank.

He got lost.

I became the tank. I figure out where I need to go (more than the first'n accomplished) and proceed to head for the survivors, about a full minute later than our tank should've entered the fight. Meanwhile, the other 3 of us had whittled them down a bit. One of them is healing at the top of a tower.

I climb into the area, promptly right click to start the animation for a throw.

"COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN"

It is important to note at this point that I am a terrible Tank player and the thrown junk is incredibly inaccurate either way. This in mind, the concrete slab arced perfectly, tagging the healing survivor and blowing him clean off the tower to his doom.

Then I kinda ran around swinging in the general direction of people for a bit.

I also recently had a Jockey on me (presumably) claiming to be setting up his charger buddy to launch me off a ledge. When the Charger came in for it, the Jockey swung me off the edge, falling to his death and sending the Charger (who caught nothing but air) sailing to his death as well as I was hanging there.

One time I was playing some Oblivion, using the Beautiful People mod for Immullshins. The game glitched entirely up. At first, I thought the problem was nothing happened, Until I had a talk with a fellow citizen. Suddenly, when he speaks to me, I instantly bolt up from fear, seeing that this man's eyes look like he had severe brain damage. Next thing I know, I start killing him, only for a guard to come up to try to arrest me. I notice that he has a "Derpish" look as well. I start going all over the lands, seeing man after man with a derp face. If you guys wanna see what these mentally-challanged people looked like, here's a picture

((I'll get a picture up soon!))

Playin fallout 3 with some buddies, wandering around, YAO GUAI OH SHIT

It runs up, jumps over me, I go into vats, headshot it and kill it with a critical point blank shotgun blast.

I think oh man this is gonna be awesome. You might know what's coming up.

But then I leave VATS and due to a physics glitch the yao guai ROCKETS INTO THE STRATOSPHERE and never comes back down.

Everyone in the room proceeds to double over in laughter.

I bet three hours later it hit the ground in someone else's game and scared the shit out of them.
