Weird things happen when you reincarnate the poor guy as many times as Bay12 has...

No.  He's half-elf, half-dwarf.  The elf would never open it and the dwarf would never leave it...so...flip a coin?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Cacame opens the chest and finds:

120 Coins
5 chunks of goblin meat.

Also, after leaving the village and buying supplies, Cacame is confronted by a man.

Defense or Power?

I have to believe a guy named "The Immortal Onslaught" would choose Power...

The question is not one of sexual preference, but rather monetary preference.  Go for the wealthy merchant, not the penniless bard!

Lull the merchant into a false sense of security, then kill her, just like in Dwarf Fortress!

Seconded. Besides, music isn't even implemented yet, so what's the Bard going to do all day? Stand around at the meeting hall and make friends? We all know where that leads to.
