They need their head. And I'm being serious here, eye removal is a legit option :P
Contact syndromes caused by vapours are the most reliable way to cause eyeball melting, and this FB can do it :D
The nerve damage is a plus :))

Eh, they function better without the skin, makes them immune to pain. However as of recently Dwarves now suffer from blindness when their eyes have been removed :(

You did notice the part where their lungs rot away, right? You might get pain-free, less-stupid dwarves, but they won't be able to breathe. Having them keel over shortly after exposure somewhat defeats the purpose of having super warriors.

Meh, we'll work that issue out by beta. Or !!scientists!! will start by seeing if rotten lungs allow one to breathe in magma, while !!chemists!! begin work on separating the compounds responsible for the various symptoms and separating them...

...Once we get new ones, the old scientists are dead. It probably has nothing to do with the glow emanating from the laboratory.
