yup, but I donīt know whether the percentage increases stack (To a curved graph) or if they add up linearly.
You should gice Scamps [CAN_LEARN]. And then unlish him on any burglars in a few years. Superscampsenly tough for the awesome.

The numbers.  Lower is faster.  It is actually the time between two of that creatures turns.

I think the default speed is debated.  Back when I started modding most folks believed it to be 1000.  About half a year ago the wiki claimed it was 900, and then folks believed that was the default, though I dunno exactly how they came across that number.

I personally think the default speed is 1000 but I have no proof to back it up.  Maybe Toady will enlighten us on the next wall 'o answers. *fingers crossed*

Well, whenever I start as an adventure my speed is usually 1000.  That could be why.

cats and dogs can go fine together..

Only miscommunication between them is the tail;
When a dog wags it's tail, it's happy.
When a cat wags it's tail, it's stressed.

Hehe my 4-year old (large) dog was TERRIFIED of the 9 four-week old kittens I raised last year.
As in: jumping back 2 meters when they came close, and shaking all over out of fear.
Took him 2 months to get over that. Never hurt them though.
Now he's my cats' best mate. ( I kept 3), even though they steal the food from his mouth (literally).

toady, watch out, I have a tabby very much like scamps who we trained to shoulder sit, and once they learn, they never go back, so get used to typing with a cat on one arm ;)

My cat sleeps on my keyboard just to annoy me.

I have a kitten named Lily (who's staying with my sister right now, current house can't have cats, and we only left the older three cats in the old house) who's a very big fan of shoulder sitting.

And my oldest, Joey, likes to sit half on my head and half on the back of my computer chair.

That cat isn't anywhere near the 'e' key. This must be a shoop.

I don't know....I think it's related to genetics. I mean some dogs will always attack cats, even if they are very young. My 2 dobermanns -for example- would tear apart all cats on sight. [Sadly that happened already  :-X]

If you get a cat first then the dog, the cat will express domenence over the dog and the dog will bow down to the cat.  There will be no deaths, only limbs.
