Non-Vanilla Adventurers.
« on: January 07, 2012, 08:01:47 am »

On a recommendation from a Dwarf/Elf hybrid I decided to change this into a Non-Vanilla Adv thread instead.

In what ways have races from mods changed how YOU play adventure mode?

original OP.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Its probably worth noting that mods you made for yourself alone are totally valid here.

This is nothing compared to playing as a giant moving stone castle. Everyone tries to kill you, but fails due to your size and rock-hard skin.

however this adventurer is already legendary in axes and daggers and up and coming on spears... there's totally not 5 empty illithid towns anywhere...

a reliable alternative. though tbh adventure mode has been shit in the 31.XX versions. cant wait till this next one comes out, sounds like there may actually be something to do in adv mode.

You do realise that adventurers can normally wield an entire armoury... With two hands :P

Dorfs do it too, my militia commander is currently holding his sword and shield in the same hand.

I had a crippled Militia Commander with one usable hand (other one missing, this one partially rotten) who wielded a shield, crutch, and two swords in one hand.

If you play DF, then nope. Everything is a good sign when you play DF.

Everything but the urge to spare the lives of elves, in which case you must ingest Magmacin as fast as possible to get rid of those horrible thoughts.
