Cages.

Is there a way to dump things out of cages? Such as dead goblins? I can't find it on the wiki.

Look at the inventory of the cage and dump the contents?

I know how to hit "K" and look at it.... but it seems I can only dump the cage itself from there? Is there something else I can try?

I think if you have it built, then you can look at it with 'T' and see its contents and dump from there.

Okay, I haven't actually played DF in several months...but from what I remember, you have three options.
  • If built, it counts as a building.  T over it and dump the contents from the building inventory.
  • K over it, press enter when it's selected to get it's description and contents.  Dump from there.
  • Find the contents in the Stocks screen and dump from there.

Hit - and + until you have the cage highlighted. Hit Enter. You are looking at the objects and creatures in the cage. Select the objects (corpses are objects) you want to dump. Easy.
