I can already sense the epic. Poor Kat. She won't be in pain. For long...

Basements are available in World Adventures. Otherwise, no underground super lairs. I think. Also, poor Kat.

So I'm getting town life, high end loft stuff, and world adventures. I'm not sure if any of it will require me to restart or some such.

We need to marry a doctor, then divorce him and live on the alimony while we conduct even more adventures...

This cannot fail.

You can carry on as is, but it would be best if you used the "Edit Town" in Options to place the new town features from WA and Nightlife, like the bars and apartment buildings from Nightlife. If you get Ambitions (the expansion between the other two you listed,) you get stuff like a beauty salon, consignment store, junkyard and other stuff. Oh, and you can make your sim time travel and build robots.

I've never recommended buying the stuff packs, as you can get shitloads of free stuff to add into your game from places like Mod The Sims or The Sims Resource.

Yes, I play with digital dolls, and I like it. Sue me. :P

I don't judge you, it's as close as we can ever come to legally owning people as pets.

Speaking of owning people as pets...

No guarantee she won't pee all over the soft and warm carpet in the safety of her home instead of the cold, hard ground outside in the dark where she could be snatched up by a hungry owl. Best that Jackie be there to protect her from any of the Kat's many natural predators.

So I got all the stuff I said I'd get, but I can't edit the town midgame, so I think we're stuck without the town stuff, but hey. We've got the high end loft stuff, and the world adventures, and possibly basements too!

Oh, and I found the town editor button, it was hidden in the options menu, I added a laundromat and a school. There doesn't seem to have been much stuff to add.

EDIT: Oh, and I now have the ability to build basements, and I can add levels to the basement below the basement, for as far as I like.
