Can I go back to previous bonus quests or do I have to finish them as soon as they are available?

The only bonus quest I know about is the one right after the prologue. Have you found others?

Can't answer your question btw, I did the bonus the moment it became available.

I skipped the post-prologue bonus quest because I did as much as I could during the demo. Now I can't seem to access it again  :-\

Is there a method of fast travel in this game? It's more of a hassle than anything else to run home from school, now that even Sana can one-shot most enemies on that route without use of magic. And mothbees always have rage potential if you end up being put to sleep.

I just finish the prologue and I started at hard. I kinda regret that. For most Japanese games, hard actually means hard.

No fast travel to speak of. I feel this is a game though where the world is small enough that traveling is just part of the experience, and enriches the feel of the game, so to speak.

Yeah, I guess that's true. And it is pretty epic how the music changes depending on your and your enemies' relative strengths, from epic battle music when you're slightly outmatched to what I dub "curb-stomp music".

Plus, you'll notice that Stella has a built-in feature to deal with weaker enemies, in the form of a single spell that allows you to coast through previous areas without being trouble by creatures.

Yeah, I turned that spell off. I'd rather conserve MP if I'm heading towards a dungeon, and it's more personally satisfying to just sword-plant weaker enemies.

Protip dood.  You can change the difficulty at.... any time.  It's in the settings.  I spotted it when I went to turn off auto block.

Also the bonus quest just has you fight a harder version of the skeleton guy, and you get an accessory that gets outdated fairly fast.

Man, I had a lot of fun fighting the
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
It was challenging, but not excessively so, and it was the first boss I've seen so far with a weak point to deal massive damage to. Sana's attack-boosting spell was very helpful, and I managed to finish the fight by sword-planting the boss's head. Awesome.

I'm necroing this for the specific purpose of saying that Mothbees can go suck a rotary saw.

Also, got this recently! Steam, flash sale, etc., so forth. Awesome game so far. Mothbees are a pain in the goddamn arse. Least favorite screen so far has had like, three mothbees, a pair of merkids, and a merkid mage. This game has had me vaguely imitating someone with coprolalia. Especially when I don't have a minion to possess (because AI Arche is like 10 billion times better than me :-\).

Merkids, so far, are my second least favorite foe (After mothbees. Fuck mothbees.). They killed poor Sana... so many times :'(

Though... interesting to note, it seems that my original response to this game was also "Mothbees *fistshake*" Neat to see the response held in the full version.

Mothbees and their later variants are indeed hellspawn of the worst kind. At least until you fight harpies. Dem bitches are evil.

I don't want to spoil how, but harpies are probably the first and only TPK threat you'll run into. Fortunately you get the natural counter a little ways after facing them for the first time, but man...
