I have embarked 4 times. And STILL no ebony trees. What is happening?

You know If you're going for the TES route you might want to think about getting amber from trees, Like in the shivering Isles.

Never played, just seemed like an interesting mod.

DOUBLE EDIT: Hah ha! I embarked, bringing ebony wood. And guess what? There were ebony trees! Now to test, once I get some flux.

I think I got the naming of the wood wrong, since I don't really know what I'm doing there.

I reembarked on another world, and its confirmed. No ebon bars. Well, I'm in for the night.

You know, in TES ebony is mined and has nothing to do with trees.

But I like the idea of a world with metallic trees and ore laden plants, I imagine it would look great to those that like microline
Reminds me of Mirrodin from M:TG. Perhaps you could have the Nim replace zombies and have random parts of them made of metal?

I still very much like this idea. I'm actually producing a mod that transforms diamonds into bars and even hard plate armor that I think would fit nicely with this. Need to work on that one more and see if I can get it into a state worth publishing. It's an industry-focused mod that adds quite a few new stones, gems, metals, and associated reactions.
