Nabisco dropped everything in his hands and drew both daggers (or just one if he is better with) and dropped into a defensive stance, "You have two choices," He growled, "You can let me go on my way and hand over any food you have, or you can have your entrails hung from the nearest tree."

"Ffs, It's been less than 12 hours, and I'm already soaked through." She gave a quick glare at the guys in the group, shook the hair out of her eyes, and then continued on up the stairs. Stick waving as she goes.

When she heard the rumble, she let everyone know, and then listened hard herself as she moved.

Tiberius roars into the air hoping the game masters can hear him

Ferrel swore. To himself, and quietly though.

"Look here," he held his arms open wide, hoping the tribute would notice his gesture, "I carry no food. Only this bottle of water." He pulled out the only source of nourishment he had. That 2.5 water bottle.

He noted the tribute's stance.

"We seem to be alone here, as far as I see. Even if you do escape with everything, know that there are careers searching around the place.

"What use would it be if I died right here, than we team up and increase each other's survival rate?"

The last line said by that tribute gave cause for thought.

"I'm pretty good at mechanics and electronics. Partly in improvisation of such. Noticed the lit buildings earlier? My guess is that those careers are searching there for easy deaths." He tapped his binoculars. "Don't doubt my sight. They are in numbers, and I'd bet we'd all be dead if we didn't bring them down together.

"I mean you no harm."

Look for sewage entrances, then get inside the sewage system. If none then I should run for a place to hide in one of the buildings that did not light up.

"Of course you don't," Nabisco said, not easing up a bit, "You might be useful though, how long would it take you to set up traps around this area, or just the Cornucopia?  If you can do it before the pack returns we can hole up in the cornucopia and wait for them to kill each other, or starve."

[Tiruin]

"Yeah, if I trap this area, where are you to turn to?" Ferrel replied, glancing around the area. "Nevermind answering that."

"How do I know that you won't be killing me as we rest, it looks an awful crowded place there." He heard the cannon shot, and without looking away from the tribute, replied.

"And...another one goes down. I don't trust you, but necessity comes first then. Watch my back. I'll be done in about...this much. Light the way if you can to help, but don't make a sound. We don't want more attention here."

Trap the area. Use whatever is nearby to improve efficiency, like what was seen in the first day...

"Before you kill me, I'm Ferrel Summer by the way," he said with a shrug. "So are you just going to stand there and hold those knives all night or do something?"

"You don't need to worry about me yet.  If I kill you now you can't make any traps, if I kill you later, you might have rigged up a bomb  or trap of some kind that you need to check on a regular basis, or else it goes off.  So we have an alliance until the end at least."

Griph wandered in the dark forest, looking for something to eat. He could see some berries: they were blue, had a small crown on the bottom, and had a white something coating them. He did not know whether it was edible or not. Eat?

Lexx heard a mechanical rumbling, clanking, and the roar of an accelerating engine. It seemed to be a diesel powered thing, as electricity powered machines did not roar.
She spotted a thin wire just before she brushed it. It was made of metal, and humming with electricity.

Tiberius taunted the GMs.

Wikus quickly searched the counter. There was nothing electrical to use. He glanced up: the machines were on him. He dismantled a stone shelf and chucked it at a machine. It caught the full weight and was knocked back, falling into a bunch of tiny pieces. 'Fragile,' he noted, 'and light.' The other machine prepared to attack with a spear-thing.

Nabisco moved most of the supplies into the Cornucopia, mostly food and weapons. He then picked up a crossbow and a pack of bolts. He loaded it.

Ferrel strung up a set of mirrors, to ensure 360 degree vision.
He could hear some machine in the distance.

Griph put a few handfuls of berries in his sack. If he came across another living thing, he'd have something to experiment on.
