((It's Ferrel. So I get that mostly every other NPC ran off and a couple or so chose to go to the Cornucopia?))

Added action: Make sure own trail is not followed.

Nobody reacted to Dante's taunt. Or, to be more precise, the ones who were likely to respond were on his side, while the more weaker tributes didn't dare confront a perhaps crazy man with a weapon.

Tiberius extended a figurative hand of alliance to Sheen and Annita from districts 1 and 2 as fellow Careers. They cautiously joined the group, and also claimed a pack each. Tiberius picked up a pack.

Dylan flipped the lever then dropped to the ground, in case it was booby-trapped. The south gate retracted into the ground without a sound, and he made his exit. Being careful to tread on less track-able grass and avoid dirt, he crept into the forest. He saw no-one around him, and was pretty sure he wasn't being followed. The forest had a pleasant smell, and birds sang everywhere. He saw a squirrel dashing up a tree to protect its hoard; and a honeybee lazily drifting in the air.

Griph attempted to get his bearings. He was in some alleys, and couldn't hear the Cornucopia. He started towards the high fence peeking out between a bunch of buildings.
The east gate (marked as "E") had a lever to the side of it. Griph cautiously tugged on the lever. Nothing happened, so he went out.

Wikus's pack held an empty water bottle, a thin sleeping bag, a palm-sized pack of beef jerky and a pair of binoculars. Wikus decided to head into a building some distance away, and opened the door. It was unlocked and dark. Entering a lobby, he observed a number of ornamental trees, a reception desk (abandoned), a staircase to the far left, elevators to the right, and two push-bar opened steel doors beside the elevators. The elevator lights were on.

Nabisco swung open a random building's doors. Luckily, they were unlocked. The building had a reception hall, a large flight of stairs leading down and splitting into two paths, a spiral staircase leading upwards, and some more regular stairs also leading up.

Lexx looked around, but all of the non-Career tributes had already fled into the city. Still, she kept up here stance.

Cole, who is definitely a boy, backed up Dante's challenge to the empty park.

Gail waved at Lexx and Tiberius, not caring for fighting, and walked over to them.

Keena ran out into the city's streets. Offhandedly, she noticed that the street's layout would be disastrous if she was against an opponent that wielded a crossbow. She saw no-one, except for a glimpse of a pair of legs in the distance.

Sohac also had no-one to fight, as they had all fled.

Ferrel chose a building that looked lucky. Before entering, he glanced around to see if anyone was following. Due to the utilitarianism of the streets, there was frankly nothing to hide behind. Making sure that he was, indeed, alone, he swung a door open a tiny bit and slipped inside. There was a counter in the opposite right corner, and a set of elevators on the left. The elevators were all on.

Gail picked up some serrated knifes, one weapon-breaking knife, and a piece of bread.

Wikus thought of talking to someone from his own district, but now that he thought of it, Lexx was his female counterpart. Maybe he should have not wrestled the spear from Sohac. Wikus reckoned Sohac would not hesitate to stick a spear in him first chance. He thought of his brilliant plan to destroy the force field of the arena and felt a tad happy inside.

Time: About 2 o-clock, 30 minutes has passed since the start.
Note: All buildings are assumed to be dark unless otherwise noted.

What the PCs should do: Post your next action, and preferably set up a number of 'ifs' to facilitate the speedyness of this game. Example:

"Blip enters the staircase and goes up. If there is anything useful, pick it up. If there are any interesting doors, enter. If dangerous, run."

Still keeping an eye on Sheena and Annita, inspected the contents of her pack.
"Well, that went a lot better than expected, I s'pose we aren't your typical career group however."

Satisfied she'd taken note of everything, she then repacked it and inspected the stash in the cornucopia, making a mental check of everything there.
Still taking care to watch those two, she then made a pile of everything she thought she'd need. Hopefully, she'd find the following:
Trident (ideally, a good spear is acceptable though),
Lightweight sleeping bag,
Webbing/Assault Vest/Bandolier (The more it can carry the better),
A hiking rucksack (50 to 60 liters ideally),
Water Bottle,
Non-perishable food,
Net (For fishing and trapping people),
Fish hooks,
Roll of Twine,
Torch,
Fire making tools

She took what she'd found, and packed it up.

Ferrel examined the layout of the building and crept to the walls, unsure if any other tributes were nearby.

He checked his pack for anything that could help him, then improvise a shank using the scrap metal

Maybe...going up along with the elevator may help in his scavenging.

But...he was sure that in a few moments, the other tributes would be looking for each other, he had to make it quick.

He needed more materials to suit himself...

(Check the counter for anything valuable/useful then stow those in the pack. Take the elevator up, if any other tribute appears, try to reason with him/her, if that fails, then run/use elevator as an escape. If anything else, search the room for anything useful again. Find any material to create a makeshift shield.)

'Damn. I forgot Lexx was with Sohac and them lot. I'm screwed if I go near 'em...' Wikus muttered. He looked in one of the buildings and found a nice spot out of sight. He then considered looking for somewhere to start his plan: a power box, exposed wire, anything he could use. He smiled. 'Capitol, you're about to see what happens when we beat the system.'

>Find anything electrical that Wikus can exploit.

"Well, I must say that this is quite disappointing. Not a single one of you lily-livered loyalist scum wants to try your luck? Very well, we'll meet later."

While carefully keeping his eyes up and scanning, Dante uses the fact that no one seems to want to fuck with him to move to the nearest good looking pack, running his sword somewhere accessible in it and looping it over one arm, keeping his spear ready with the other. He'll go grab another pack with the same method, trading an inefficient carrying method and a tired left arm in return for being able to quickly dump them if need be. Any trouble, and he'll do exactly that.

Griph checked his pack and found that there were many useful items, as to be expected from a pack right next to the Cornucopia. It held binoculars, an empty waterbottle, a waterskin filled with water, a sleeping bag, a serrated knife and most importantly a disc launcher with 10 discs. A ranged weapon, albeit exotic.

Lexx looked in her pack and found a sleeping bag, binoculars, an empty water bottle, and night-vision glasses. She then combed through the Cornucopia, and found the following:
  A large trident
A regular vest with many places to store food, weapons and other items
  Three cans of stir-fried rice
  Can opener
Rope net (roughly 4 meters squared)
  Small roll of twine
  Flashlight
  Gun-shaped lighter

She dropped her spear in favor of the trident.

Keena ran as fast as she could while still preventing echoes from sounding. She saw the east gate, which was suspiciously open. Apparently, a tribute had used it and not bothered to close it. She (?) slipped through and ran off into the forest.

Tiberius wanted to gather items, but for some reason he could not take inventory. He thought that he should make a list of what he wants and find them.

Gail checked what was in his pack : a water bottle, a sleeping bag, binoculars, infra-red glasses. He then waited for his fellow tributes to be ready to hunt.

Sohac picked a brown pack. It had a water bottle in it along with other stuff. He chose a nice sword, a couple of bread loaves and some nylon filament. He looked around for armor, but there was none. Apparently, the Capitol did not want tributes to be nicely armored. He did find a sublime golden shield that was light as air, and strapped it on. He also picked up a thin dagger, and dropped his impromptu shield.

Ferrel ... (looks up shank) fashioned a crude shank. Due to his mediocre knowledge of improvising tools and weapons, it gets a -5 circumstance penalty. (I hope a shank is a tool >.> not a piece of armor) Walking over to the counter, he noticed a strange contraption with a bunch of lights and buttons, a glass pot, and a dipper thing above the pot. It was made of stainless steel. He reasoned it was some kind of distiller. Under the counter was three unmarked white paper bags. One held some kind of aromatic brown beans, the second had white powder, and the third was sky-blue powder. He pocketed all three. Then, he walked over to the elevator and pressed the 'up' button. With a cheery ding, the doors slid open. He got on and pressed another button. The elevator opened again on the second floor, which was partially cut away to make a larger lobby. On the non-lobby side was a row of doors on either side of a hall. There was soft carpet covering the floors.

Wikus entered a dark building. It had a reception desk, elevators on one side and stairways on the other. He looked around, but there was nothing obviously electrical. Might as well not leave a mark.

Dante picked up three packs in a queer matter. They were mostly light, so he didn't need to worry about weight.

Nabisco barricaded the doors with  conveniently present large pots of trees. She?He? also jammed the revolving door temporarily with a hunk of tree she cut off from a potted plant. Looking around, she noticed the room was mostly bare. There was a roll of twine in her pack, along with a sleeping bag, a 10 kilogram weight, a bottle and flashlight. There was also a plastic tarp. Nabisco used some of the twine and the 10-kilogram weight and rigged the stairs to drop the weight on the victim's head. Also, each of the doors got an ankle trap. Finally, Nabisco grinded the dull knife on a secluded part of the reception desk. It got a barely existing but perceptible edge.

The two Careers (non-PC) wandered about, picking up a pack each and some food. They both looked tense, and flicked their eyes, looking around.

All buildings' 1st floor glass can't be seen from the outside, due to the 1 way mirror effect.

Spoiler: Inventory (click to show/hide)
