Dante gave his other competitors a quick once over, sharply turned around to look at the other half of the area, shrugged his shoulders, straightened his jacket, then spun on a foot to go chat with the first aid types. He certainly already knows a fair bit of life-saving things, but it's always good to learn more.

And you know, pocket any medical supplies he can.



Take First Aid Lessons, pocket anything he thinks he can get away with, then ask the instructors if there's anything he can have.



((As an aside, I've never read the books, although I think I heard someone talk about them once. I'm not even going to pull up TV tropes on 'em, just to stay surprised.))

Once we start the number of competitors will reduce to about 10 in around five minutes so keep that in mind if you have plans.

Dylan learned some basic camouflage before noon. It helped with his sneaking skills a bit. (Sneaking +1)

Geri Cot went to the Knife station, and learned some ways to handle a knife. It was pretty different from the axes and saws she was used to, but the instructor complimented her on her "natural" talent. She gained some experience in bladed weapons (+1).

Meanwhile, Gail noted the handsome of the tributes, before going to the camouflage station. She improved on her knowledge of being unseen. (Sneaking +1)

Dante went to the first-aid station, and refreshed his memory on first-aid. Meanwhile, he slipped a bunch of bandages into his pocket, and a number of pills. Dante gained some knowledge in first-aid (+1).
He asked the instructor if he could have anything. The instructor replied, "Yes, you may, but you can't take anything into the arena anyways," and turned his attention elsewhere.

(The premise is you go into the arena and fight to death over a long period of time.)

Griph grasped a bow and boldly started shooting, and endangered a good number of dummies, targets and sand bags. He grasped a basic understanding of shooting, but he wasn't sure if he could accurately target anything at all. (Archery learned)

Cole received some instruction in fire making. To keep the darkness away ... A bit advanced fire is now in his range. He also learned how to use a match.(Fire+1)


The next turn is Socialization and Lunch. You may RP with one another or just spend the lunchtime eating. You have three training sessions left (today afternoon and tomorrow). You are to be transported into the arena three days later.

Geri ate her lunch with Griph, staring him down from across the table. She wasn't going to give him the benefit of the doubt. She finished her meal in silence, waiting to see if he would say anything himself.

Dylan sat down at a table in the corner, his food sat before him. 'I hate these damned games, and if I survive I will set my whole life to bringing down these bastards who chose to run such a cruel 'game' as this' With a scowl he began to eat, slowly of course nibbling at a piece of buttered bread that he had thought looked quite tasty.
