Also keep in mind the "Pi factor", well known in BIG science projects (like space projects, LHC, experimental fusion reactors...), which say that the budget ALWAYS increase threefold. so funding 300%? good.

I love the way the graphics look on those screenshots although the yellow blobs are a bit unimaginative for me. Now while floating islands are always cool i don't see how they add to castle building and digging except for creating natural barriers between islands (if that was the original goal that's ok).
I assume if you dig too deep you fall down?

Fortress, actually try reading, or maybe even watching the information on the game before asking innane questions.  Yes, your Bricktons can fall out the bottom of your island if you dig too deep.  Yes, castles serve a purpose, and yes, there is an actual backstory and planned events for the game.

The way I see it, Bricktrons as they currently are as styled as such to give the player a bit of both reality disconnection and aww factor, because people tend to not want something adorable murdered (completely different case here, considering we pit children into magma as a hobby) and therefore are more protective of them. I could be absolutely wrong, but hey, there's speculation for you.

On the one hand, this game looks amazing and I can't believe I didn't know about this sooner.
On the other, I don't have any internet money so I'll probably never be able to buy it :(

Can't wait for this.

Hopefully they will add a little more depth to the game-play, but considering the jump from the first youtube release to this trailer I'm sure they'll manage it.
