Think it might go on sale during Christmas time? I kinda don't want to spend too much money on games all at once, having recently bought "Papers, Please". Then again, if I wait, all the spoilers will probably be unmarked...

Still, the expansion feels good. But I had an Ironman run ruined with a bug. Spoiler-free, apparently using Run n Gun sometimes cuts down your movement to just 1 move (as opposed to 2 moves, and ability to shoot)

I'm going to be 100% honest, in that situation I would have used the ironman savescum, aka killing the process so that you can go back to the autosave.

Yeah, game killing bugs are a perfectly valid reason to save-scum.

My main bad habit is savescumming because of the 10% rocket scatter hitting my own guys.

If you want to use the savescum, remember that the autosave happens at the start of your turn.  So you can be fucked if, say, one of your soldiers is panicking or supressed on a burning car.

So meld collecting is just as annoying as I thought it would be >.> .


On the topic of teleporting aliens:
Seems the issue is definitely fixed since aliens seem to actually walk while patrolling now, kinda screwed me up once cause a squad that was just out of activation range walked into my sight and I assumed they where activated and ended up activating them.

Man, non-aggressive floaters just don't feel right...

I'm loving it and think its totally worth it but I guess if you mean "is it worth the $ or should I wait for a sale" that depends on your finances.

I've enjoyed what I've played so far, although that hasn't been all that much yet. Not going to have time for a thorough playing until this weekend.

I got it at about $22, thanks to that voucher tip. Now I really, really, won't spend any more until the new year. Haven't played it yet, though.

found a game breaking-ish bug, trying to flush a hunker downed enemy breaks the game.

Consider investing in Mimetic Skin and/or a speedy defensive MEC to cut down on recruiting staff maintenance costs!

So I love the new random abilities second wave option, got this one assault with bullet swarm, spray n pray, and up close and personal. The guy can shoot 4 times in a single turn!
