Nonstop for days? Please, do take care of yourself. I don't want you showing up on the news like those korean gamers who die of dehydration.

I think I'm going to give up my normal ironman run and go back to classic. It kind of lost the tension for me, and I don't feel as attached. There's less on the line :)

It's CARE-a-piss, absolutely.

Uh-LOO-min-um.  If you act haughty (hotē) about unnecessary sounds in your words you should be forced to communicate in binary.

I'm on normal/ironman and I'm having a rough time. I can't fathom how harder it would be the classic mode :o

Primary lesson here: most english speakers don't care so much about pronunciation. So long as they get the point and you speak with confidence, you're good to go!

And the ones who do care will be too busy arguing with each other. :P

So fully covering everything with satellites seems like it should always be top priority, judging from my games thus far. When you start covering entire continents, you can stop worrying about any panic level in those countries; essentially eliminating them as a place to do abduction missions. And with 1500/month and huge numbers of scientists and engineers pouring in, the rest of the game gets much nicer.

right up until you sit there staring at a pile of 4000 credits and realize you have no resources to make anything at all.  Then you will cry.

Heh, almost nonstop. I still eat, sleep and do all that is necessary to keep playing more! :)

I would recommend anyone at least familiarized with turn based strategy games to playing at classic. It changes the game. Losing is fun in classic mode. I only ragequit when I do something stupid (like selecting the VIP thinking it was one of the soldiers)

Once you have satellites everywhere and

then pretty generally Panic will always be at 1 bar across the board for every country, provided you continue performing all missions, so you can continue playing indefinitely from that point provided you don't majorly screw up.
