Indeed, you can turn them into chitin plate armour.

Think bigger

Imagine Car accidents and head on collisions where no one dies and that is the expected outcome.

It's clearly the only use X-COM has for them though :P

True... I am surprised they didn't think of evacuation pods or something for escort missions.

I have a horrible accent, but whatever.

I love the accent, though the constant breathing into the mic is a bit annoying. :P

 I'd watch your LPs.
I said in the beginning of part 1 that I had to turn of playback to fix another problem, so I'm breathing into the mic because I can't hear myself. Sorry. I got better at "blind" recording in the more recent parts, though. Speaking of which, parts 3 and 4 are being uploaded.

You foreigners are weird, though. What's nice about hearing someone speak your language horribly?

Edit: And I'm still ok with 360p. I don't know, personally, I can read all the text.

Because you're actually speaking the language perfectly well is the thing. Don't know why you'd think it's horrible? Because it isn't. You're more clear and understandable than some native speakers I know, especially over audio.

At least I don't notice any mistakes. The only things you did wrong were presentation-level issues that plague users of any language level and you were still above-average for LPers - the accent simply makes you a bit more distinctive, while still being perfectly comprehensible, which is only a bonus when voice is all we have to go on.

And if your system can record at a higher level without performance issues, no reason not to make those people happy. :P People can always choose to watch it at a lower level.

On the topic of the gray market... am I the only one who's a little suspicious of the council members wanting alien corpses?  I mean, maybe they just want them as trophies or they think some of the aliens' body parts contain useful materials, or they want them for relatively innocent research projects like testing the effects weapons have on the corpses.  And that would be fine.

But when someone asks for 8 crysalid corpses, I get a little suspicious.  Nothing about crysalids is really worth imitating.  Mutons have great armor, robots could be useful for a variety of things, floaters have advanced propulsion systems, ect.  But all crysalids are really good at is turning humans into zombies and causing widespread terror and death.  I have a vague suspicion that they're trying to reproduce or otherwise weaponize crysalids, which just couldn't end well.

Unless they make their own Crysalids and mount multilasers on them.
And of course they would create cute alien zombies and crap.

I'm going to post here every time I upload a new part, if you're ok with that. Don't want to make a new thread just for this.

Part 3 and part 4. Sorry for the coughing, I'm not feeling that good.

I started recording before people started asking for higher quality, but starting from part 5, quality will go up.

I decided to restart my Classic Non-Iron Mode game, no tutorial this time.

Had an epic Terror Mission in Perth, Australia (I live in Melbourne so it feels homey) in which I only lost 2 out of 18 civilians. This was the first encounter with chrysalids. "Ace", the appointed squad leader spec'd as combat medic support, literally freed two civilians and got away from a newly born chrysalid in two turns, surviving with a single HP left, while the other three squadies gangbanged another chrysalid.

This game is so much epic!

They spawn eventually given enough time, but you should have the latest and greatest by then.
