I'm going to post here every time I upload a new part, if you're ok with that. Don't want to make a new thread just for this.

Part 3 and part 4. Sorry for the coughing, I'm not feeling that good.

I started recording before people started asking for higher quality, but starting from part 5, quality will go up.
Quality seems fine. Don't know what's up with the complaints. Also, your voice is fine. No worries, man.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.

I wish I had your luck. My first terror mission was an utter disaster. 2 of my squad died, 1 turned into Crysalid food, and the other two only just escaped with their lives. And I also got a terrible rating, because FOR SOME REASON, we were unable to take off with the citizens already in the Sky Ranger without killing every single alien.

Which is, if you can't tell, bullshit.

Anyone else see the zombie 'moving from second story to ground level' animation?

Most aliens that can do it (Cryssalids, Thin Men) do an elegant looking drop (with a little flip, for the Thin Men.) Zombies... do not: They just step right off the side and do a face plant in the pavement. It's hilarious.

I found the carapace thing amusing... mostly because you said it exactly right when just reading it, and then spent 20 seconds trying to correct yourself. :P

I've been told that it's "care-a-pace" after that. Screw your language. Yes, I do feel stupid now.

Woah, I need to record that.

Edit: Also, you guys are scaring me. I am yet to meet any alien that you encounter later than the

but most of you are playing normal , while I just skipped to classic ironmode after like 6 hours of play. I expect a lot of death.

I tried to do Classic Ironman...key word is tried. After losing every engagement and managing to *run out of soldiers* I swallowed my pride and bumped it down to Normal Ironman xD

Mid-game-ish-mini-spoilers-maybe?:

Reminds me of Shogun 2's soldiers doing ship boarding.

When they'd jump from a higher ship to a lower ship, they'd fall on their face.

Something I remember being mentioned was a complaint that enemies entering the battlefield were visible, and it was lame.  It is a little lame, but having played I can see why they do it.  Thin Men that airdrop immediately overwatch, and they usually do it in escort missions.  All it would take is one Thin Man in a spot you didn't notice (And it's pretty tough to gauge angles and LoS in this, so it wouldn't be too hard to miss one in your sweep) and your VIP is toast.

Also a 7ft tall man in a suit dropping out of the sky is pretty notable :) I do like how them dropping in triggers reaction fire. It's fun to see them drop in and just get gunned down before the end of the turn ^^

Not dropping, somersaulting. If they drop very close to the edge of the map the camera will pan downwards, allowing you to see them jump off of a invisible floor.

So.. properly escort the VIP by holding a perimeter around him and have him move where your soldiers do? Never had any trouble spotting enemies, more like the opposite as occasionally i spot enemies where it shouldn't be possible.

Anyway, someone spoil me to the ending as i lost interest in playing through more tactical missions and the ending cinematic on youtube didn't really reveal anything.

The British may say it "care-a-pace", but that's dumb. Say it "keyr-a-piss" like an American!

Absolutely a fantastic game. I have been playing nonstop for days. It has been years since I'm hooked to a game this way (I am on a three day long holiday).

It's somewhat streamlined yes, but not in a bad way. I've been playing only in Classic Ironman mode and I am far from finishing the game ( I must be on my fifth or sixth playthrough) and I am having just so much fun!
