Q: How do you know when a giant is in the area?
A: When it's snowing dandruff!

(This should totally be put in :P)

It occurs to me that if the dandruff snow was actually in, any area with it would probably be perpetually infested with lice and stuff... :-\

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

You know what would be great? If evil areas actually tracked what died in them and rained their blood ingame. Of course, that would be even better if megabeasts weren't immortal in worldgen. Then we could have random titan blood rain on day one.

On the note of earlier comments on plants that absorb blood,

there is in fact a vine in south america that has flexible chutes stemming off of it that grab anything that is in contact with them for a short time.
it then waits until either the creature escapes, or a bigger creature kills it at witch point it takes in some nutrients from any blood, and then receives extra benefits from fungi that from on the corpse over time.

has some weird name given to it by the locals of the area, ill see if i can find a wiki page or something.

anyways, that's about the closest real plant to a blood absorbing tree.

Megabeasts aren't immortal in worldgen, though. If you ever noticed, they die all the time, especially when modding.

So yeah.

Now thinking of modding the next version to make blood == alcohol.
