Upper Spine Broken
« on: January 03, 2012, 06:52:30 pm »

I was ambushed during the night and my adventurer's upper spine was broken.  He's having difficulty breathing now.  Is there a way I can heal him up?  Right now, the upper spine is in the cyan text for function loss.  Is there a way it will heal on its own?

Sleep and pray.

(also, nerve damage will NEVER heal)

Ah, yes, I thought something was amiss. Now I see. There's not enough terrible things in the lakes.

Don't forget that it has to have magma at the bottom of said cliff.

I play adventure mode because it's hard and when I play, I am too.
I believe we're talking about full scale colonisation here.  You don't just leave all your shit in the van when you move house.

My voice acting portfolio.
Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

Your arms still work. And your teeth are attached to tentacle like apendages.

Even with a broken spine you can still bite people to death. And drag yourself around with them. So go on a killing spree or something. With your teeth.

You lose the function of your lungs when your upper spine is broken. You only have a minute or two to live, depending on how fast you enter commands. I think it may also depend on your endurance. I have had times where I die almost immediately after that happens and others where I have to wait fairly long. For the most part, though, if I'm in the middle of a (large-scale) fight I die anyway because I dropped everything I was holding and can't move, so I just get my skull bashed in.

See I normally take a sword or something to the knee and loose the ability to stand from nerve damage... It appears we all are not destined to retire as city guards :/
