Is incredibly hot/cold the best challenge there is? What about stuff like water worlds or completely evil/terrifying worlds with 1000 megabeasts...?

Incredibly cold worlds seems to be a real let down, but Sol is still good

Also, all of them except Venus I think have the max amount of night creatures, demons and megabeasts.

I... I call... Umos! Tropical Island World. Note this is a request.

Parameters:
- All tropical, with no glaciers and such.
- At least 10 volcanoes.
       ^If in next version it is possible to have natural pressurization on lava/magma, make them active! xD
- Lotsa wood.

Challenges:
1. Make everything out of wood, except the necessary stuff.
2. (optional) Embark on a volcano.
3. Above ground only, you may dig for cellars! Except for your mad scientist living on a fistant atoll along with his
dangerous followers, he can keep the traditional dwarven customs.

You can't naturally pressurize magma
Also, volcanoes tend to be very steep... Not good basis for an above ground fort

A lone female dwarf managed to mine out quite a bit by herself. She even reached cavern water, with the ghosts of her fallen comrades watching her. I thought she might've actually survived- but a Giant Bat got her.

EDIT; After atleast 5 more attempts to start a fortress, something fantastic happened. 3 of my 7 dwarves aren't on fire. They embarked with a nethercap wagon- I think that may have something to do with it, but I'm not entirely sure.

EDIT; I just encountered a ton of batmen in the caverns. ...

Yeah... I think I give up. But only because 3/4 of every embark ends in less than 30 seconds.

you know ive just realised that if we could edit gravity and seasons, life would be so much more FUN
a high g world where falling even 1z is death or a world where every summer, a wall of flame sweeps across the map.

still, no point wisjing on mights, so i think with pluto and sol, the limit has been reached on difficulty. for now, maybe making daemon worlds in the next release.
