Gerald looked down at Amber-her had on his chest-sleeping, dreaming, helpless. Trusting. They all trusted him, didn't they?

He was glad to spend the night with someone, at last. For him, it was exhausting, being alone. He craved companionship like a plant in a desert did water. He had been wilting...now he was sprouting, to turn a cheeky phrase.

In any case, It had been a LONG time-and Amber was excellent company...maybe the best he'd had. Now, came the tricky part. Keeping her safe. Doing his job. The balancing act. If one side tilted too much....it all fell down.

Gerald hoped it would be different this time.

Get into the crate warehouse without being seen by any guards, police, etc.

Once in, wonder slightly at why Blow-by-Blow was activated while carefully tasting that chemical delivered by EVIL and feel a bit more creative (Innovation)

You proceed to sneak into the crate warehouse, start up a forklift, and then use it to steal several crates from the warehouse. Now it's hard to tell, but you're pretty sure that you weren't seen by any guards or policemen. That guy that you ran over definitively wasn't looking in your direction. Or even if we was, then I'm pretty sure that he didn't have X-ray vision, and so didn't see you until you drove the forklift through the wall and over top of him. The other guards certainly didn't see you drive off with the forklift either, because they were too busy trying to put out the fire that you 'accidentally' started.

As you drive away from the scene of the crime, you take a moment to kick your legs up and wonder why the Blow-by-Blow was activated while sipping gently on your vial of suspicious glowing liquid. Who knows? Perhaps the GM knew about your horrid fascination with crates and warehouses. And then you kick your legs down, because forklifts don't drive themselves.

Max Innovation Points: +1

Blow-by-Blow Sequence Finished!

Amazing. Such kindness from those with nothing to lose. Ready to risk their lives for someone they hardly even know. When I get my restaurant back, I'll have to throw a buffet or some such in their honor...

"As much as I would like to deal with those trouble makers myself, I'm afraid you may be right...Perhaps I'll go find somewhere to rest until things settle down a bit. I cannot that you enough for your help."

Flee to the nearest sufficiently forested area for a quick nap, then head to the restaurant to see how things are playing out.

"Alright then. Suit yourself. We can talk about how you can show your appreciation later."

Huh, that seemed kinda almost ominous. Must have been your imagination or something.

As far as you know, the closest forested area is over in the west, and it'll take a turn to get there, rest and then come back. Eh, still better than sleeping in an alleyway, and it'll probably take the same amount of time anyways.

Blow-by-Blow Sequence Finished!

Enter the The Golden Truffle and talk with who is in charge for the place

The head-waiter sees you approaching, and gives you a quick look-over with his eyes.

"Excuse me sir, but are you with these... men?"

Sorry for the delays in the Blow-by-Blows, but my schedule has been shot. It will be stuffed and mounted as a warning to any future schedules who think about escaping.

Enter blow-by-blow on way to hotel

Through her amazing psi powers, Jessica is able to create a small Blow-by-Blow field around her person. However this field is not very stable, and is liable to collapse if it threatens the turn continuum.

Look around to see where I've driven off to in the forklift.

Concentrate as hard as possible on ending the imminent threat of blow by blow field collapse! The city depends on it! Oh god! Clutch spudbuddy to my chest and start expending psi points! We cannot let the field fail!

Jessica concentrates all of her psychic might and power into sustaining the Blow-by-Blow field. Windows break and cats explode at the sheer mental energies rippling off of her. Nah, just kidding. The leaves in the trees ruffle a tiny bit more, and some random guy accidently stubs his toe, but other than that nothing else really happens. Well, except that the impending collapse of the blow-by-blow field is less impending.

"No, i was hired to be a guard this place, I going to say that you are the head waiter, what is your name?"

"Ah, another one of you louts. I've enough of this. Tell your friends that I haven't asked for protection, I have no need for protection, and that they should all bug off. Now good day."

With a huff the waiter storms off into his restaurant.

Rush up to the guy who stubbed his toe. Ask him if it's all right! I'm so worried about him. It must hurt something painful. Something terribly. But don't yell, shhh, shh, it's okay, I'm here.

Push those thoughts into his head as I rush over.

The man feels confused yet comforting all at the same time, and thus passively stands by while Jessica comforts him about his stubbed toe. Well, maybe passively isn't the best word. He was enthusiastic about the hugging, and could bleat out a happy song better than most.

The men nod in agreement before launching into a tirade about their various woes and grievances against waiters in general. Seeing how well rehearsed it is, they could easily form a choir or a band or something. Besides their musical coordination, their stories are pretty similar to yours. Some random guy offers them a job to protect a restaurant, waiter of said restaurant denies asking for any job, they stand around airing their grievances.

Tell him to sit right here, and don't move, I'm going to go get help. But I need his wallet to id him to the help, so he can just give it to me, and then I can go, telling him it will be alright, I've got it all under control no matter how much it hurts, and I'll be right back. I trust him.

Continue on to potential embassy location. Allow blow-by-blow field to collapse if it so wishes.
