[176.38a] Room screen: bottom 3 rooms hidden by UI.
« on: February 16, 2008, 08:26:00 pm »

In the (r)oom view, the bottom three rooms on each screen are still selectable, but are now hidden by the new viewing options.  Also, a way to jump directly to the entries on the room listing from a dwarf's inventory screen would be nice.

Also, in the relationships screen I noticed a child with a mother and father listed, but the mother and father didn't have listings for the child on their relationships.  Oh, and it seems possible to recursively continue through relationship listings for an arbitrarily long time and then have to hit space a billion times to backtrack out.

Oh, and if a dwarf happens to go berserk, the dwarf stays visible but is no longer viewable on the relationships screen.

Sometimes, I think there's an untold tragedy behind every bug report.  This tragedy involved the discovery of a magma pool while digging the first room of the fortress, followed by the loss of six of the seven starting dwarves.

I'll clean up the room list for next time.

Was the missing child listing from an old fort?  I think there might be a compat omission on those.

There's a suggestions thread on the relationship [space] vs. [shift+space] exiting that'll get addressed soonish.
