Turn 2Players GoCall out in the Zort language "All hail the Supreme Overlord!"-which they are supposed to stand at attention for when called out.
[5] Erin yells out "All hail the Supreme Overlord!" in perfect Zorthwoopese, a complex mess of fricatives and consonant clusters that inspire terror in the heart of any Zort. And it works - all the five Zorts in the room stand at attention and salute, as if expecting the Supreme Overlord himself to appear. She then proceeds to fire at the nearest one, [1=1-1 vs. 2=4-2] but fumbles with her gun instead. -1 to attack next turn as she readjusts her grip.
Salute whilst Erin shouts out, then dash to the door and trap the Zort in the room, meleeing any which approach.
As Erin belts out the phrase, Hilda [3=4-1] salutes convincingly, then [3=4-1] dashes to the door to block the Zorts from escaping, preparing to get her hands dirty if any of them tries anything.
Roll into the closest bit of cover possible then open fire on the closest Zort!
Ren quickly checks his surroundings and [4=5-1] dodges behind a nearby object that resembles a control panel, hiding himself from all but two of the Zorts. He then aims at one of the Zorts in line of sight, [1=2-1-1 vs 3=5-2] but accidentally drops his gun. -1 to attack next turn as he re-arms himself.
Follow Dwarmin/Erin's plan. Perform a roll while shooting sporadically at the Zort's general position afterwards.
Lorren [5=6-1] rolls out of the line of fire and aims at a nearby Zort, [3=5-1-1 vs. 4=6-2] but the shot goes between it and the Zort near it.
Enemies GoThe startled and confused Zorts [6] quickly realize they have been tricked, and start scrambling to do something about this new threat.
One heads to the door Hilda guards (It could see Ren but can no longer), provoking Hilda [2=3-1 vs 1=3-2] to shove the butt of her raygun against its shoulder, inflicting 1 damage.
Two more fire at Erin, [1=2-2 vs 5=6-1] [4=6-2 vs 4=5-1] one dropping its gun out of fear and the other missing.
Another heads for the door opposite Hilda, [6] which it accidentally slides into and bounces off of, falling on its ass.
The last one (the only one now which can see Ren from his hiding spot) aims at Ren, [1=3-2 vs 3=4-1] but cries for its mother instead of attacking.
RecruitA second scout ship approaches the mothership and [5] teleports Franz aboard, who had the foresight to be standing.
All player attack and dodge rolls are at -1 while they regain composure. Zort attack and dodge rolls are -2 because they are too busy saluting for much of the turn. Hilda and Ren also get -1 to both actions for taking two physical actions in the same turn.
Note: If a player spoiler says "fumbling", that means they fumbled this turn and will get the -1 next turn. Likewise, anything which cleared up at the end of the current turn won't be listed here.
