Ancient frog races had moral code that forbade them to kill each other. That did not stop them from fighting, tho! But it did affect their weapons, as they tried to make them the least lethal they could. In later ages, when men arrived to Egheevin, and many new races and animals with them, the world became a lot more dangerous to frog races, so they started making actual weapons.
Wrestling was most common, as it was easiest to learn and did not require any technology. Also the warrior could move freely and hop around, weapons hampered frog races in that regard. On the picture is Luuwaurak from Waalwaurkūāl clan, a elite warrior group practicing a martial art Luuwaur.
Short clubs were popular among the frog-kin, as they did not limit mobility of the warrior too much and were easily to handle, especially to Kevekii who are generally more clumsy with tools. The narrow end was adjusted so that it could be used as a crutch, making up for the one limb holding it.
Longer weapons were trickier to use. It could be grasped at the very end of the shaft, and whacking it that way, or the holder had to assume a posture depicted on the picture - leaning by the rear legs only and bend the body backwards for a effective strike. Staves were the most common two-handed weapon, later spears would come to play against non-frog opponents, stabbing and thrusting weren't that difficult to perform.
Kvaksas loved axes, as it was symbol of their patron Velaka. But they were difficult to make. Most of the actual axes in the realm were tools, but Kvaksas liked to shape their weapons as axes, so those were more like a ornate mace. As time passed, battleaxes came into play as well, and were mostly used by temple guards.
Kvaksa with a Fakkeh, their word for sword. The sword has prolonged handle, not only so that the warrior could grab it with the both hands, but also to reach the ground, again making up for the one occupied limb. Swords were also introduced later on, but remained rare even then, reserved for the most proficient.
