Four frog heroes are sent by their king to a noble quest, they must find and defeat terrifying Mysterious Ogre, that no hunter nor hero was able to achieve. Škopus is the youngest, naive hunter. Kyjóc is young as well, but a bit more responsible and experienced. Normál is a rugged experienced fighter and Vostroš is a renowned hero that has already accomplished many great deeds. They set sail, and go.
The first part (I've made a copy of the original, for some reason. Have two of them) maps their embark. Vostroš wants to search first in Ostrov sta špeků (Island of hundred fats), and they succesfuly reach the island, but are stopped by local tribesmen. The tribesmen don't understand their language, but apparently don't want to harm them. They understand the word "ogre", though, and after hearing it, they take them on a mountaintop and show them a island somewhere further. Škopus points at another mountain and asks them what is there, they say "Tenkdoráč." Tribesmen invite the hunters to their homes, and show them an ancient prophecy of four frogs fighting an ogre. They are shocked by this. Night is falling, and everyone go to sleep.
Škopus, however, is curious and wants to know what Tenkdoráč is. He sneaks to the cave in that mountain, and is attacked by mekavka, a goat-like creature native to Egeevin. Tribesmen are woken up by bleating coming from the mountain, they wake up the heroes and they all rush to help Škopus. They fight off the mekavka. Tribesmen reward them with coconuts, and paint their cave with images of them fighting the mekavka. Hunters thank them and continue on their journey, towards the island the tribesmen shown them.

The hunters arrive on the island, and Vostroš, being their leader, recaps the fable to them. It says, that one must not look into the face of the Mysterious ogre, for no one ever lived to tell the tale what'll happen. They spot the ogre, and Vostroš tries to snipe him. The ogre turns towards them. All the hunters close their eyes or turn their sight away, so they are unaffected by the spell. But Škopus, being the jerk he is, is curious once again and looks towards the ogre. The spell grabs him, flung him to air, and he disappears. Kyjóc notices it and turns towards the ogre in the process, and disappears as well. Normál and Vostroš manages to knock the ogre unconscious, and bound him. They are puzzled what happened to their friends, but they need to sail back to frog kingdom with the ogre. They put the beast in cage and sail off.
Škopus finds himself alone in some strange landscape, alone. Kyjóc finds himself in cuffs, locked in a dungeon. After examining the area, he realizes he was captured by kvaksas.

Heh... I love to make this joke. Draw a rough QR code and write "Scan the QR code and nothing'll happen." at the end of the comic.

Škopus can't find any living being nearby, but is found by a unnamed cyclops. The cyclops wants to help him, and shows him his flying bucket. They fly away together. Škopus tells him about the Mysterious Ogre and their journey. But the cyclops don't know any of the locations described. But he still wants to help Škopus, so they are trying to figure something out.
Meanwhile, Kyjóc speaks with the kvaksas that kidnapped him, and finds out horrible truth, their leader wants to "leach a tea" out of him. He is then exposed to a horrifying procedure. After traumatizing experience, he asks the kvaksa leader if they'll release him, now that they have tea. Apparently, they want to leach a tea out of Kyjóc till the end of times.
Normál and Vostroš sail with the captured Mysterious Ogre, but are attacked by a fleet of other ogres, a whole ogre nation, that wants to protect their kinsman. They destroy ship of our heroes, and escape with Mysterious Ogre on board. The heroes don't surrender so easily, however, and pursue the ogre fleet. They lose track pretty quickly.

Kyjóc tries to reason with kvaksas, unsuccessfuly. He discovers they need this frog tea for some spell. Meanwhile the cyclops and Škopus fly over a strange cluster of islands, and Škopus asks what is it. The cyclops tells him it's where the Lord of Beardism reside. Škopus is still a lil' curious brat and wants to explore the islands. The cyclops doesn't like the idea, but lands there. Škopus finds men, frogs, and other races, with very dense beards. He asks the Beardists where their lord is, they tell him, but also warn him, that he can't stand beardless beings, and will put a spell on him. Škopus doesn't care. Guess what happened next...
Normál and Vostroš found some city in middle of the ocean, and find a sentient fish floating in the air there. The fish introduces as king of the Ichtoods, and after he hears their story, he immediately wants to help them. The king knows how to find out location of these ogres, with help of Ichtood artifact known as Cup of Knowledge. The Cup is empty, so the King takes his fellow koi, Mailfish and takes the two hunters on a journey to refill the Cup.

The cyclops on the Beardist Island tries to find Škopus, but is spotted by fanatical Beardists who wants to get him, for he's bald. Škopus fends them off, now possesing a dense beard himself. The ogre asks him, if he's a Beardist too now. Škopus says he's not, but he's keeping the beard. The lord of Beardism deems this heresy and anarchy and sends alert to all beardists, that these two must not escape. The Beardists that helped Škopus before join the rebellion and try to escape too. They defeat all Beardists, so Lord of Beardism goes and pursue them himself.
Kyjóc is once again being leached, but this time, the procedure is interrupted because some frogs rebelled and overran the fortress, trying to free all prisoners.
Meanwhile King of the Ichtoods, Mailfish, Normál and Vostroš need to pass through a part of the ocean guarded by Mekavka Sages, two massive stone statues of mekavkas watching over all passerbys. They aren't in the mood to let them through, and destroy their new ship with their magical gaze, so our heroes need to use force. The two frog hunters can't do damage to these stone giants, but keep them distracted.

Škopus and his new friends can't fit in the flying bucket, it can only hold the cyclops, so they tie their moustaches, forming a giant rope hanging from the bucket. The Lord of Beardism lashes them with his beard, but it gets stuck in the flying bucket's propeller, it flungs him to ocean, and his beard gets wet, so he can't pursue them. Their own beards get wet too, however, the flying bucket can't withstand such weight and comes down to the ocean. They use it as a boat from then on.
Kyjóc breaks free, but he doesn't want to escape without his trusty club. He finds his club in alchemical laboratory, where it is used as a ladle. He gets extremely mad, he beats the alchemists, seizes his property, and escapes with the rebels. His club apparently gained some magical power, being soaked in all the potions. The rebellion is led by a frog hero, but they need to fall back quickly, because the kvaksa magi call swarms of minions that overwhelms them. They retreat and manage to hide.
Mekavka Sages taunt Normál and Vostroš, that they can't laid a single scratch on them. King of Ichtood sends Mailfish to gather Ichtoods from the waters around. Then they attack one of the Sages with, a swarm of Ichtoods spewing water on it. The sage can't see clearly, and aims his gaze onto his fellow guardian's pedestal, the foundations crumble, and the statue fells down, down into the ocean. Vostroš and Normál jump on the King's back and quickly get through. They are wondering, why is the King helping them so much, willing to sacrifice even his people. And the King has a story to tell...

Story time.
King of Ichtoods and Mysterious Shrek were old enemies. The ogres wanted to get the Cup of Knowledge, so they sided with dark lord of mekavkas, Mek'a'-čona, and sieged the citadel of Ichtood Magi where the Cup was stored. King of Ichtoods was prince at that time and trained by the magi in arts of swimming in the air, and was present. Mysterious Ogre got the Cup and drank from it, and it revealed a spell for him. It was not exactly what he expected (The Cup of Knowledge is maybe the most complex thing on Egeevin, was fun creating rules for a object granting knowledge)
, but it was powerful enough, so he left the Cup there and retreated with his ogres. The Ichtoods pursued them, as well as Mek'a'-čona, angry cuz ogres broke their deal.
Ogres tried to escape by sea and by land too. They were crossing the Kvaksa island once, but Mek'a'-čona got kvaksas and Qv'uaksna on his side, who did not let them pass. The Mysterious Ogre managed to get through only with a small group of bodyguards, still being pursued by Ichtoods, Mek'a'-čona and Qv'uaksna. The Mysterious Ogre arrived on the island the heroes found him on and began to prepare the spell. But Mek'a'-čona and Qv'uaksna foiled the spell and twisted it, amplyfing it's effects greatly but also making it unstable and tied to the island. All pursuers were teleported away by the curse of the Ogre's face, including his fellow ogres, so he had no means to leave the island.
