Good stuff Splint! ...weird stuff, Superdorf? It's good, but I don't know what to make of it. :P

Spoiler: Legitimate Businessman (click to show/hide)

I needed an easily-doodleable character for a game/event/thing, so obviously I doodled an orc.

Finished Marii the Warlock's portrait

Also started working on the (sadly very dead) sorcerer's. Should probably even out his head some, but having a noticeable dent in his skull would certainly justify his odd behavior.

Eh, no worry. I'll just take a deep breath, take note of my ineptitude to explain how I work and why, and unlock my thread and just stop taking public contributions.
I'm rather mad, but this situation calls for cold blooded reaction rather than my usual kneejerk. Good art tho

Oh dear, I'd no idea things had gotten so heated over there... I hope I didn't fan the flames too much? I thought we were just talking about cool helmets...  :-\

Well, I forgot to post anything for like 6 months, but I'm not dead and I'm still composing, so I should really post again. Here's some stuff I made since then. I think it turned out pretty well, but it's hard for me to say, since I made it.

So I was considering scales, and then I thought about what would happen if I just played in two totally different scales at once with different key signatures and everything. Now this exists.

And a song inspired in part by the game Wandersong, because it had some really cool accordion playing and I decided to try writing with the accordion. It's only one of 5 instruments that plays, and it's not the core instrument (which is flute), but... Somehow ended up the longest song I've ever written, at 4 minutes 30 seconds. Not really that long, but I've mostly written really short songs, so...

If you took the time to listen, thanks, hope it turned out alright.

Good if you can't focus on a single project long enough to make a full game. Or for making an entire large game, if you feel like it.

I tried to write poetry, but I can not translate into English ( please help! ). :-[

I lay on a couch with my girlfriend
And snowstorms  happen outside .
Mushrooms are floating in a plate,
We have not finished some of them.
And outside a snow was fall,
And we  together sweated for a long time.
We said we’re doing lesson yet,
But we together turned red.

c r u n c h y art test inspired by Daggerfall Unity's "retro" rendering mode, based on their blog post (scroll down to "Retro World Rendering")

640x480 isn't crunchy enough, but I feel like 320x240 makes it too hard to see things in the distance. Either way hides my disgustingly awful textures and modelling

new prototype, this time its a 2D sandbox survival game. scripting the player movement and the world generation algorithm has been a blast. the sad part is that i cant make large maps right now, need to find a solution for the data management, either the game taks forever to load due to making all the blocks in the map at the start or it kills the memory when trying to check and update the blocks around the player.

so far my programming skills have sufficed but now im getting into stuff i dont know shit about basically.

Finished portraits!

Homalis the Wood Elf Rogue

Charple, the human Sorcerer prior to his death (both with and without his fancy sword)

The first thing my utility mod ever decorated (by accident.) It's probably a bit chunkier width wise than is accurate, but eh. Looks good otherwise.

Double post because it's been a few days.

A project I've been wanting to do for a while unrelated to others is being put into motion. Always an "Ah I'll do it later," or "Not right now, some other time," sort of deal. In light of a few things (chief among them actually coming up with a good idea and some mod updates,) I've decided to get things in gear. Nowhere near even pretending to be done of course, and this'll be a big project, but still.

Premise is based in citizens living under The Church of The Light trying to tap the caverns and cut out the dwarven guilds in the silk trade, as well as exploit things added to the caverns via mods (for example, a couple moderate to high value dye plants.) But, as will be stated in another page, dwarves are drunk greedy assholes - and dwarven merchants are the greediest. And likely not to take kindly to someone undercutting them in the silk trade in human territories.

Overall, it should be pretty interesting - assuming I can find a suitable evil biome so I have plenty of weird shit to draw courtesy of ZM5's mods. And hence the large loan - a large chunk of what I need will be expensive iron equipment, plus gear to arm an escort detail to take out various hazards and probably closer to 5000 points really, should be plenty to not have to skimp on armor and weapons along with necessities and the iron disc I need for the sawmill.

And yes, I'm aware the right-to-left set up might be disorienting, but I've cocked up before, so I may as well cut out the middle man and embrace it to the best of my ability. I haven't read anything with pictures in it that came out of a left-to-right reading source that wasn't Cathar's stuff in years anyway.

My commissions are open y'all. DM me if you're interested and we'll negotiate a price. I can draw characters completely from a text description, in digital or pencil mediums. NSFW is allowed of course, with some restrictions.

I also do freelance editing work. I mainly offer copy editing services. I'm fluent in HTML and CSS, and I can turn your Google Doc into an e-book ready to publish in any formats you need (PDF, MOBI, EPUB).
