So last night and today I roughed out 3 pages for a comic. I'm not going to finish them, I'm just going to keep roughing out pages to see how many I can get through.

Your stuff is great and inspiring, love the steampunk vibe. I'll sound like a broken clock but I'd really like to see a project, however small, get totally finished. You really don't need to think big. Three pages can be enough to have a beggining, a story and an end.

This project is definably small (~50 pages), but it is still diving in at the deep end... I will come up with a shorter story over the weekend. Try to keep it <5 pages.

in my ADHD fueled comic rage, I decided to go back to one of my earliest projects. It's short. 12-20 pages roughly. And I am very stoked to work on it. I roughed out the first 6 pages. I plan to fully finish this comic. Woot.

*And yes, I am terrible sorry for my chicken-scratch handwriting and misspellings.
**Literally hit a (figurative) wall at the end of this so sorry the skeleton is bonkers messed up in the last panel.

Part of the reason I don't like Mr. Plague Man is that I spent... three? Four? hours variously doodling and trying to make something stick and ended up with a rough finished product, when I know I can knock out a much nicer piece (in terms of rendering and brushwork, anyway) in the same time or less.

There are some walking animations (up, down, and right/left), and a bowing animation in there. This character is really cute!

Roughed out/thumbnailed 5 more pages. For once, I feel like I can actually finish this comic (or chapter anyways)! Scripting is obviously very important.

I know they're pretty rough, but it feels like progress. (Also, yes I still intend to finish them fully. Though it might be closer to 25-30 pages... fight scenes take up a bit more space.)

Made a game with a small team for Ludum Dare 42. Simple little turn-based puzzler, based around a dungeon full of colorful Jelly Cubes: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/$107125. It's been over a year since I completed a game jam game, and I'm really glad to have gotten back into it! Was pretty pleased with what we got done content-wise in 72 hours, too. The link has a walkthrough video that demos the basic puzzle mechanics, if folks are into that thing but not so much playing the game.

I was mostly responsible for UX stuff, aesthetics, plus a bit of input on core game mechanics, and one or two tutorial rooms. Also made a tune for the game! https://clyp.it/fedkhg1w

Huh, I like puzzles, so I should take a look at that. Seems quite interesting
Also, what all does drew/shopped/made/etc. cover? I had figured it was just art. Huh, maybe I’ll put some piano music I wrote up. Once I can actually get my piano tuned that is (because pianos really aren’t supposed to play quarter tones).
