I was going to say that it sounded rather empty, but then it really picked up halfway through in a very nice manner. Might still be worth fiddling with a subtle bassline to back up the guitar at first, but given that it's WIP, i can't say if you've already planned this. :v

this is an "starter" class trio for my monster sandbox game. they were originally designed for a pokemon hackroom that i never actually worked upon back on high school.

the idea lingered for a time so i decided to give them new life as drawings, instead of the initial sprites i did, they are still in my DA account.

I've been having trouble trying to color-balance out a patch of stuff for a picture I'm editing ;~; (ie Making 'the other side separated by something, like the color of this side') using either GIMP or Photoshop CS3.
And I'm unsure to ask, so this post is for it.

Also, all the recent art is ♥s! (Those pokemon monsters are cute :3)

Worked more on that song. It has a complete structure now, but it could probably stand to be longer and have a custom bassline after the intro.

Yeah, having a visual of what you're changing would be helpful, heck if you want, shoot me the image and I'll try and fiddle with it, editing isn't my forte but I've picked up some colour tweaking tricks over the years.

And on to paints, why sleep and have nightmares when you can stay up 'till the wee hours and make them :V

Haha. The REALLY OBVIOUS step of using construction lines in perspective over the head to get eyes consistent is really obvious, I must say. Completely obvious. Haha. Thank you, on behalf of the people (who aren't me!) who somehow missed seeing the really obvious on their own, and don't want to speak up about it.

That Cosmodex is an interesting project; offering submissions to flesh out the setting and whatnot, I take it?

Yeah, its just a big community collaboration to add to the webcomic's universe. Also the earlier parts of the comic are being redone and are eventually gonna be hosted there. Its good fun, everyones friendly, and theres some really neat art going on in the discord channel. (also thanks!)

Thanks,  I'm happy with how fast it's going,  today is going to be a bit slower because I need to do some things I don't know how to do
But today I'm hoping to get the water level and textures to generate better,  then going to play with scale and size of everything,  and hopefully I can get Mountains done by tonight.

Then tomorrow is Desert / Swamp / Lakes / Rivers.  Will post progress whenever enough is made to change the look of it enough to show off. (probably every day for a while)

after spending the day with some university asignments i gave me some time to draw some stuff i had been floating on mind for monsterland.

the evolutions of the starters.













i've also made a rodent and a opossum monster families, along with a bird of prey but i will share them later. have to finish some evolutions. and there's more on my brain right now
