Redid the dragon.

Much smoother than the original. I've been staring at it for a while til it hit me: making turns like that usually requires banking. Probably not worth redoing now, just something to keep in mind for next time. I dig the model and animation, though, nice work.

It does bank. It's just a really bad video angle. I can't even change it; teacher wants it there, and the file we were given to start from has everything but the dragon completely locked so we can't change it by accident.

The model's not mine, but I rigged the animation. It's a bit hard to see, but the dragon's head turns as it banks. The towers are also the exact same size; they are complete duplicates. The angle is really weird.

And I just noticed the gif/YouTube cut off the last few frames. Again. I'm gonna start padding these more. No wonder you can't see the banking: the first occurs behind the further tower, and the last is partially gone.

We had a guest teacher over to teach us some FL Studio, and some of the accompanying sneaky tricks that are a lot simpler than one should think. I'm still a LONG way away from being good, though. :v

But hey, thanks! I really don't think i actually excel at any of those, and i'm really fucking new at composing. You should've heard how shitty it was before i decided to take a turn for the ambient, the guest teacher was almost audibly thinking long and hard about finding something nice to say about it. It's really FL Studio doing most of the work here, it's pretty hard to fuck up if you're actually trying to not do so. :v (also guest teacher was a TREMENDOUS help in figuring out the basics)

The dragon has very few joints, just wing elbows, shoulders, tail, and head, and the flight path is premade so we can't change it. It really should have some up/down movement, but nothing us students can do about it.

Everything but the dragon's joints are locked to prevent us from messing with it.
