Don't think I'll forget about it. The shading and coloring is miles ahead of me; I'm basically only good at line-art. SOMETIMES coloring if I've already made the line-art, but I usually trace the line-art first in case I muss up the colored image, so I have 1 B/W and 1 colored copy; because I DO mess up.

I mean, I suppose it miht be the Dunning-Kruger effect at work, since the reason I have been shying away from drawing people lately was because I learned proper anatomy. And now I can't wing it without feeling too disgusted at the drawing to continue.

In which you may mistake your worksmanship for something lesser-than-it-really-is (and then it causes a chain reaction in perception)? That effect is comparative. Word your ideas to be open to working with criticism; we won't bite, and our words won't kill you. Before you self-criticize [with negative superlatives], ask others you can trust to give you honestly what they think, and be OK with your work. It's a continuum in progress.

I just have the singlemost feeling that you've a unique technique of drawing stuffs there.
I personally haven't discovered mine. xD

I still wonder where are the joints for the legs in this mess.
But otherwise i find it fine....
(I suck at pixel art , but we cant say that i suck with an HB pencil(yes i only have a freaking HB pencil))

This looks decent! If there's one quibble I have it might be that the left panel should be adjusted 3 or so graph paper squares to the right to be appropriately symmetrical at this perspective. (That is, if you were going for symmetry.)

Well the lines are probly the joints. Because y'know. They look jointed. so yeah... the actual joints are inside, and the rest of it is just dim and not thought out. I mean, all of it is. Cept the arms. They don't have joints.

I cant help but picture your robot falling over, it's legs still moving fruitlessly like a wind-up toy's ;-)

For the past week I've been working on some Space Station 13 graphics. My goal is to make enough tiles for a bare-bones game then pitch them to a programmer working on a remake.

How do the humans look? I'm afraid to add more outfits lest I make changes to the base and have to update everything to match them. I want the people to look perfect before I move forward and add the rest of the departments.
