With that level of craftsmanship, you could get money out of it, I would assume.

Yep, hentai's a profitable business.
No but seriously you need to build a fanbase before you get anywhere and that's slow as balls if you hardly find any satisfaction in doing fanart of popular media.

Acquire Tumblr, follow a bunch of people (especially artists of a similar calibre to you), post reliably, and if your stuff is good (it is) followers roll in relatively quickly. At which point you can open commissions and so on.
