Anyways, I did a lot of progress on the characters I was forking on. Here's what I finished:

The character next to the skeleton is supposed to be a bearded dwarf witch woman. I'm not very happy with the result and I have no Idea on how to improve it.

More tablet practice. I don't get how other people seem to get such clean/smooth, marker-like lines. Is there a brush dynamic for it, or does it just need oodles of practice? One thing I'm noticing is lines tend to be a lot more jagged because I don't have the pencil biting into the paper and holding it smooth anymore.

What are you using? I can tell you that in GIMP there's a smoothness thing if you scroll down in the toolbox area, but I have no idea for PS. Krita has it somewhere fairly obvious.

Oodles of practice almost certainly enter into somewhere, though.

Protip: Put a piece of paper on the tablet, That's how I do it, although mostly just because it feels nice and less because it make my lines smoother.

Also i concur with the lines thing (yours aren't bad, mind you), i have NO idea how people get super neat free-hand lines (at least not on digital media). The only vaguely clean lines i get is when i make fast and wide swishes across the tablet, since that tends to mitigate the unsteadiness of my hands (compare slowly drawn line to fastswishline). It is harder to land the fast swishes accurately, though, so you'll probably need copious amounts of undoing.
