It's kinda long, I don't expect the entire thing in detail, but you'll probably find something interesting to draw.  A Titan walked up to my front door.  I looked away for a second and when I looked back at the game, the Titan was dead.  Apparently it stumbled into the public dining room and everyone and their pets layed a massive smackdown.  I modded the game to play as fox furries, so they are mostly biting and scratching instead of punching and kicking, and you may see a message about their tails.  Feel free to draw them as dwarves instead. 

I made the titan a starspawn because I was out of ideas.

I would seriously like to know how the mechanics of proportion and perspective flow >_>

Waist is in the middle of the body, knees are halfway between the waist and the ground. The ends of the fingers are just under the waist. From the waist to the top of the head is equal to about 3 1/2 heads (so, the torso is 2 1/2 heads tall).

For faces, eyes are directly in the middle of the head. The bottom of the nose is halfway between the eyes and the chin. The bottom of the bottom lip is halfway between the nose and the chin.

I also recommend checking out this album on Imgur. It helped me a lot.

I do like the head.
Also, thanks for that link, the Crush2D engine they're using looks awesome; exactly what I want to use for a game idea I had, although I don't have the skills to make it even with an engine provided.

That looks like a pretty cool game, and a pretty cool fishbro.
