At first I thought it was a carnivorous plant with blue leaves and red pollen-thingy (forgot the name) that was having a seizure.

After reading your explanation, it does indeed represent kicking down a door in a very good way.

That is the best description and I am completely stealing that for the project this is for.

Pretty good. Can't help but feel it looks like the head's extending and retracting, though, rather than bobbing back and forth.

Hm. I notice that happens when one part stays in one place for too long. I'll try moving all the sprites in one direction rather then having some stay for a second. That would probably have a better effect.

Don't you love it when you just make an animation that just looks... perfect? As in, it just represents the motion in the animation perfectly? No jankiness, no weird disappearing and reappearing limbs, it's exactly how it should look.


I mean, come on. Isn't that the best "kicking down a door while holding a pistol from the topdown" animation you have ever seen? Well, apart from any from the game Doorkickers. That's cheating, because the entire game is about kicking doors. Or apart from any of the animations of opening doors in Hotline Miami. Or Gunpoint (Though that's sidescrolling), or..
Criticism is welcome even if it seems perfect to me right now, is what I'm saying.

bit criticism the gun will hit into the door way before the leg
so you need to do something with those hands raise them or lower them if you raise em you need to add pixel for the gun barrel
and you could color that foot part of leg with bit darker blue

I ended up making a fractal pattern vaguely resembling a bow and arrow in Apophysis 7x and after a lot of editing in GIMP which largely consisted of applying filters and blending in a second fractal, I got an image of sorts. Not too pleased with how the arrow part of it ended up though, since it doesn't match the art style of the bow.

I made its resolution equal to that of my laptop so i could use it as a background myself. Turns out that i'm not the only one with that oddly specific screen resolution, so that's pretty rad. :v

Aha, well caught. I was thinking along those lines... I'll have him raise the gun. That would probably look best.

Shook the first monitaur head looks like a small demon thing in that undecisive pose you get when you can't pick between one type of candy or the other.

Also finished another card, atleast I hope, waiting for the response from the guy right now. This one took a suprisingly short amount of time, tho I think it has something to do with it being relatively simple and straightforward as far as most things go, plus I had like two weeks of thinking about it to finalize all the little bits and pieces in my head.
