Well, the map is done, and it's friggin huge.

This is at half size. I would suggest clicking the image to attempt reading anything. Some of the letters are a bit small, but as long as I can remember everything's name then it's not a problem.

Blur? What?

I'm not really sure how to shade it. Since I'm going to use it in XCOM on Forums (final name pending) there isn't really a distinct light source for it, especially as it's seen from above.

On closer inspection, disregard my blur remark, i somehow thought you had used BBCode upscaling and managed to be incredibly rude about it. Sorry about that. :v
But, now that you're already on to me, i'm gonna have to say that the darker pixels you've used around much of the outline does "blur" it somewhat. Also, banding is present as well, although this is a fairly minor thing.

I learn best by noticing mistakes before actually arting so I know it's a mistake.

This makes it impossible for me to want to turn in even a small piece unless I have touched it up a gorillion times.

The banding is in the wings?

Mostly, yes. Due to me being terrible at making an example, Google provides. As mentioned though, in Gig's case, the banding is very minor, it's mostly the blurring effect of the darker pixels near the lines that gets me; it makes the black lines appear fuzzier than they are.

Seems like Gig has done some more work on it now though, that is a pretty swell gif!

That's what someone said in the last iteration of the map. I'm going to have to look into moving the dot of the I a bit more upward.

It's because you have a serious tangent line going on there. I'd move the whole word down, that would probably help more than moving the dot.

I'd say 'leave it like that'. The interpretation is to the reader
...Though the cartographer should be made clear. There are times in history where these...similar instances happened. Due to distance of reading the words.

I did think briefly about straight up renaming the city, but I've grown fond of the name so that isn't happening. I'm adjusting the lettering a bit so it's harder to make the mistake, but after that it's up to the viewer.

@Dwarfy, they're carved stones, so they're meant to look kinda smooth, also not completely finished.

Also uploading over 20 images is a pain in the ass when you also need to check every single one for errors and cropping problems :C
