I almost lost it. (I'm in a public place so you can see why that would be a problem :P)
Sorry :P
That... that was perfect.

That needs to be a movie or something.

Here's the first thing I drew:

sketchy, but it came out almost exactly how I imagined it. It ended up much more evil looking than I had intended.
Yes... This is a glorious mech.

Um so the Pokemon demo occurred.  For Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.  A review of said demo also occurred!

Ability acquired: Insert alcohol, acquire chibi kobold art.

I guess that's pretty much what I wanted when I set out to learn art, minus the chibi, but I was kinda hoping to draw something other than an accidentally hobo-looking kobold, to do more than not-even-try on the eye, and to use a different art style. Also, that sure is an oddly placed highlight on his right arm.

Question: Which of the symbols inside the circles around the edge have I inadvertently stolen, and are they likely to have any unexpected implications?

Also, can you guess which element is which? We've got Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Wood, Metal, and Void in there.

EDIT: Hm, I've just realized that two of them are basically the same, just rotated and with a bit chopped off. I'll have to fix that at some point. Need to do other things for now though.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I lost the page where you gave a help-post on making those awesome circles, Bauglir D:

Also I doubt any of those are stolen. :P

Clockwise from the top:
1) Wood
2) Void Fire Void
3) Air
4) Earth Fire
5) Metal
6) Water
-Center-) -- Void Earth

Edit: Wait, no there's fire in there too. Hmm, six symbols and 7 elements, I guess the thing in the center is a symbol too. I guess 2 is Fire and the center is Void, then.
Edit2: No, it would make more sense for the bottom one (#4) to be fire; and Earth does make sense for the center.

Oh, yeah, that center thing is a symbol as well. It lacks an enclosing circle for reasons.

@Tiruin

Here's that post, hope it's helpful! I can add to it that a knowledge of geometry is really helpful. Like, knowing how to draw an equilateral triangle using circles turns out to be a good deal faster than drawing a horizontal line, duplicating it twice, rotating the duplicates, and then connecting them.
