So I tried SAI's line and curve tools. Mixed feelings about it, on one hand I can get hella clean lines and curves. On the other hand the interface is odd and clunky, requiring the use of a button on the wacom tablet pen that is not normally in my grasp if I want to stop drawing a line, which makes me fumble for the button and shake the pen all over the place.

Was too tired to try drawing a completely new sketch to experiment with, but I did do a thing with an earlier sketch I mentioned here. Not bad, took 20 minutes and probably could take less time if I was quicker with the tool. I'd imagine this tool could be useful for future stuff.

Got bored of just drawing hands over and over, and tried something a bit different.

My scanner sucks though. Had to toy with the colouring in GIMP to actually make it easily visible, and for some reason it decided to make the image huge. Plus some of it got cut off.

The one knight at the top's helmet sucks. No idea how I mangled the hood that badly, either.

There's nothing wrong with the kettle-helmed knight. He just looks like that because he's getting his neck snapped by a ninja.

Edit: Tried to fix the knight's hood. Tried to colour it too, but it turned out crap.

And yes, the expression is almost directly relatable to my own feelings as of this writing, but at least it's not like it was two nights ago. That was not a particularly nice pair of following days, but at least i'm feeling somewhat better now. :I
