Yeah, those aliens are awesome. Bottom one is my favourite, but it's impressive how you managed to pull off the two-legged but quadruped posture without it seeming unbalanced on the top one.

Pretty much what Gunin up there said. Tabletop system, based entirely on loads and loads of d6's, and is a delicious cross between cyberpunk and fantasy. This means that ESCAPE IN HELICOPTER PURSUED BY ANGRY DRAGON is an entirely possible (if a bit rare) scenario.

Thanks! Haven't drawn aliens in a while but I think I have some stuff that could be scanned, so one of these days if I'm not lazy you can expect another imgdump...

Hands are hard yo, just recently I have gotten past the point were they stopped sucking, that does not mean they look good but eh.
Usually what I do to draw hands (and postures to an extent) is emulate what I want drawn for reference. Also found out (not so) recently that trapezoids can help a lot making those graspers work, at least on the shaping part of it.

I have entire sheets of paper with nothing but hands on them.

People kept reacting oddly to me practicing body parts though, so I don't draw in public any more.

I just beat Metro: Last Light.

I've been playing with using silhouettes to make people think I'm better at drawing that I really am. It's pretty fun drawing when I'm sitting around doing nothing, and it helps me stay awake during class.

That was my first attempt. Someone noticed me sketching it on my tablet and said I should put a star on the top and make it a Christmas tree, so to spite them I put it on fire. Then I felt bad and tried putting it out.

I got a lot of compliments from that one.

At this point I'm realizing how much I enjoyed doodling with my tablet, which includes a pressure sensitive pen and photoshop-like software. I think I'll keep doing this.
