I think it could do with some sharper lines and a slightly darker background for some contrast. It also doesn't have a mouth like the original did, but I thought that might've been intentional.

I'd say a more reddish colour might work better, although that's possibly just me liking contrast. :v (although for all i know, the green parts blending in with the background might be entirely intentional)
