Maybe a couple more highlights on the front end of the wings, to make them a bit more visible, like maybe a small one at the tip, and about the middle of the wing.

Otherwise, I say it looks great.

C. I think the spaceship-fighter-jet-thing looks great as it is now. If I got really nit-picky, then I could probably find some problems with the sprite, but that's the nature of art: Nothing's perfect. Still, though, I'm not exactly a master artist, so someone with a touch more experience with this kind of stuff could probably give more helpful critique.

Yeah, keep in mind that I use a Darkling Theme, so I'm seeing it against a far darker background then most people.

If you plan to have the sprite be used against a light colored background, leave it as is.

Do you guys think...
a) it should have less green highlights
b) it should have more highlights
c) it has a good amount of highlights right now
d) it's really bad, so the highlights are the least of my worries

Perhaps a liiiiiiiiittle bit too many highlights for my taste, it's a bit cluttered and it's kind of hard to make out the actual ship behind them. :v
Not overly much so though, because it also gives me some Tron vibes, which is all about neon stripes on a dark surface being all cool and stuff. Leaving it as it is would also be acceptable, really, it just doesn't need more than it already has.

Perhaps the highlights near the cockpit could be continous. But I overall I think it looks good, gives me a nice retro feeling.

Inspired by the song of the same name from A Scanner Darkly and that's pretty much it, great fun that was, made me stay way later than I intended

Oh my. That is exquisite! Also, props on getting the lips right, painting lips is the damnedest thing.

In the meantime, i'm also making progress on drawing things straight from my minds eye, which is a pretty cool thing to do. Once i've gotten that going, i just need to get my minds eye to be a bit more clear on what it wants me to do. In fact, my holy grail of drawing would be to just kind of be able to draw things without worrying about how i am to make it happen, and instead just hammer down exactly what i'm thinking in a reasonably short time frame.
