Each one's got a philosophy associated with it and blah blah. I need to get around to working out the symbols to represent each discipline within a school - each of those smaller circles will hold one. But that's gonna take... a while. 25 of them, and I'd like to draw on a different real-world script for inspiration for each school's symbols.

It's a pity I had to jack Judaism's style for Shamanism, but the knot* and elemental symbolism and the interlocking cycles sort of ganged up to make it too perfect. As a result, it has all the wrong resonance (because most Western people will probably first think "Jewish"), but I love it too much, and I think it's geometrically impossible to undo without breaking the Elemental Rock Paper Scissors it sets up.

Also, it's probably not clear from this, but Necromancy isn't intended to be "LolEvil!", so much as it is assumed in-universe to be by the general populace (in truth, it's about as evil as the laws of thermodynamics, but has a tendency for Dark and Edgy jackasses to gravitate toward it because they think it's LolEvil!).

*Not sure if technically a knot. I don't think either triangular loop can be separated from the other, though.

As for the Judaism feel, I guess you could rotate it like 60 degrees. It'd be less obvious then, in my opinion.

Hmm... I'll consider a 90 degree turn. I lose the overlaid symbols ( the symbols for Air, Fire, Earth, Water, respectively), but that might be worth it just to decrease the mismatched associations.

I didn't even notice the Judaism thing until you pointed it out since my eyes were drawn to the loops at the edges instead of the star.

I did not realize that until I tried it, and I spent a time rotating things by 60 degrees specifically to ensure 6-fold symmetry in the first place. >___________>
