So I need some help with something I'm working on. In 3ds Max 2012, when I render the scene while close to anything with a bump map it gets a weird pale sheen. It's weird because the textures work well from a distance.

Looks like too much specular light.  Tweak your lighting setup or material properties to reduce it (sorry I can't be more specific, I use Blender).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I generated this using Abundant-Music and did some converting on Solmire, pretty cool I think.
