Most of my family does some kind of concrete fabrication creative work. Paternal grandfather did some tinkery and worked for a construction company, father does woodwork and is a dabbling machinist, maternal grandfather was an industrial welder, tinker, builder, mother did some painting in the past. I've always been more of an abstract detail-oriented person. I love poetry, music, writing, used to code as a hobby. Looking at something visual and concrete just doesn't process well for me for some reason.

I can work with books, poems, programs, and apparently some flat artwork as a collection of lines, but making something in 3 dimensions isn't that simple and I find it really difficult to visualize. I'll probably never do much in the way of solid crafting, but I find it fascinating nonetheless

I really like where this supervolcano is right now. The continent still needs more texturing overall, I'm gonna lay down some rubble and stuff tomorrow maybe. Who knows. But I think I'm going in a good direction. Also, volcanoes on a flying continent? BAH. It's a fantasy setting, I say! At least, that's the reasoning I've been given, and I'm hard pressed to argue. Probably just permanent portals to the elemental planes of earth and fire or something are responsible.

I don't see that as much of a problem, considering viola sounds too much like violin, violin sounds too much like viola.

Considering there are already a bunch of names for this member of the viol family, I propose we just shoot for consistency and call it a violonbass.
