Taking a digital painting class... I'm honestly proud of what I made.  This is leaps and bounds ahead of what I've made before.  I don't care what my asshole classmates have to say <_<  I like it.  Yeah I'll make better stuff as I go, but still.

I rather like it. It remind me of those ancient robots in Skyward Sword.

Just realized that I forgot to finish the belt, and with the color fadeout from the picture quality it looks like the shirt and pants are the same color and as a result look like some sort of bodysuit. *Facepalms*

Crappy phone picture and meh-level art, but there ya go. At least I'm finally getting better at feet.

Also oh god feet, they are the bane of my existence. They're like hands, except not shown often enough that one really learns how to draw them. Also, your phone photos are way more clear than mine. :U

A thing i drew during breaks in class this wednesday. IN CLASS. This means i'm basically overcoming my stupid nerves about arting near others, which is totally awesome. Next step: show my bro.

But seriously, even I'm sometimes uncomfortable when people watch me draw or sketch, it's like they're expecting something amazing to happen, but it's really just me scribbling lines that turn into something after a while. So relax, try and answer something if they ask you but keep focused on the world you're creating

I have a little trouble with focusing on the characters properly, though.  I'm thinking maybe cropping off some of the right side, and maybe some of the bottom would change that. You'd want to be careful not to cut through any joints with the page edge, if you do that.  Of course, keep the original.  I could be way off.  x3


Edit:  Hmm...  now I'm not so sure about the cropping.  I wonder if my color settings are messing with the way that I see it.  My LCD monitor makes the color and brightness look different at different angles.  x3

Yeah that is something I run into when drawing, what appears to be a dark line on my laptop will look white or invisible on my desktop unless I crouch down to look at my screen from the correct angle.  Most of the colors I used are along the same orange/yellow spectrum, so I could definitely see this being very monitor dependent.
