Hot damn, love those drawings! I have to ask though, is it pixel art or really neatly detailed aliased drawings? I'm kind of seeing traits of both, but hey, that just makes for an awesome style. c:

Yes i know it's not anatomically accurate, it took like 10-15 minutes to draw. IN PAINT. Plus i'm not well versed in anatomy. But hey, at least i always have two fists to take references from! (unless i lose one of my beloved fists, that would be terrible)

Lines are looking far better man, quite nice.

As for shading, think about the angle of the sun and basically draw a set of straight lines that are parallel by perspective*.


*Basically meaning they get closer together along with everything else, but remain parallel. The sun is much too far away(and larger than Earth) to actually have any "round" light from it.

Also, shook, that is quite a good fist for 15 minutes. The only thing that really sticks out to me is the pinky seems to wrap in a bit strangely, but I'm not sure how to explain it.
EDIT: I figured it out (I think.) The pinky looks like it's sticking out to the side of the hand. Maybe due to some line placement, but again, not sure .

Thanks man! And yeah, the pinky sticks out like a sore thumb to me as well (HAND JOKES, YEAH), and you managed to pinpoint why that is. Lovely! It is quite likely because of my shoddy linework, and/or lack of practice, but hey, live and learn. :U

@rutsber: Nice perspective! I know how tricky that stuff can be, which is why i rarely bother with it. Kudos on pulling it off so nicely. c:

Hope you don't mind, but maybe if the pinky were shorter, and a little narrower at the end it would look more like you want it to? The way the lines sort of curve smoothly to the right might be making it look that way too.

Last night I had a nightmare involving a Hockey rink, Counter Strike, PewDiePie, & a Slenderman-like creature. Since I had nothing better to do, I decided to do a quick pixel art attempt at it's face. Now, whenever it came close to you, It'd quiver more & more and it's face would get more terrifying, with it's mouth opening in a Creeper-like frown. It would also make an extremely loud roar once it got close to you. All in all, that's all it did: get close enough to scare you.

- Yeah, thing is you can never capture the pure terror of it in the form of quickly done pixels, drawn on a laptop track pad.
