Overall anatomy is bad, especially the torso.

do you have any actual advice on this beyond "bad"?

Im aware of the anatomy problems with the guy on the left's hands/head and the skewed line at the bottom of his shirt, the legs need to be slightly repositioned.
with the guy on the right hes left thigh/hip look stretched out due to me drawing them too skinny and the foot too far away.

but if you have some actual advice beyond 'bad' it could be really helpful.

(it should also be noted that this is still a work in progress, if you think this sketch has issues you should have seen the first and second ones)

P.S. apologies if this response seems a little edgy but even on art centric forums I keep getting responses of "that [vague part of drawing] is bad/looks off" which is next to useless for actually improving your work.

Sweet comic, TF. If you were able to produce one like that on a regular basis and not get burnt out I'd recommend doing a webcomic.

That's really good. Although I would suggest you don't fill in the glasses, because it looks like he's wearing sunglasses. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

Dwarves passing by get good thoughts from the mist of water and exploding felines.
Anyone of the equivalent to the royal bloodline in a nomadic group would have a sun tattooed on their hand, or a scrotum on their forehead (it's a little-known fact that fraternities are based off of long-forgotten tribes).

well I don't see a problem with that  8)

New work in progress, because I love starting stuff and never finishing it. (I have a "WIP" folder with unfinished art dating back to '09)

though looking at my old WIP stuff, I have improved a good bit.

Bombzero: The body seems off, especially with the scales. Lizardish tails usually flow into their bodies much more smoothly than, say, wolverine tails, which can safely be tacked onto the end of the spine with absolutely no ill effects*.

*Do not tack tails onto wolverines if you even faintly suspect that they're alive.

I finished this piece about Doriath, from Tolkien's Silmarillion today. Phew.
Maybe a few tolerant dwarves might enjoy it.

What program are you using? Flash?
Animate it!
Seriously, he looks like he's about to spit out some curses.

Thank you! It's Sketchbook Mobile on the androids. It's great for sketching and lineart but the colours just feel like fingerpainting. Because, you know, touchscreen. Maybe I just need more practice. So, unfortunately, no animation.

Found this on the back of some statistics homework from 11th grade, thought it was worth sharing. I suppose I added Stalin punching Hitler solely for good measure. Although, I don't quite know what Tsar Nikolai is doing there.

Here's a gnoll bard I made a week or two ago.

Used him as a token for an NPC in a DnD game I'm running.
He's holding/plays a double ocarina.
It's hard to figure out how to place the arms on a character. :\

You got any more pixel art to show? I really love this one, especially the transition between the bright and darker parts of fur. His clothes could use a bit more shading though. Overall, it has a HOMM feeling to it, which is always a good thing ;)
