If I were you, I would move the stripes on the shield down, increase space between them and make the font black rather than red.
Also, I'd shift the whole top sword to the right, to align it with the bottom one; and also increase space between swords.

But that's just my personal opinion. If you like it that way, leave it.

I'd recommend

• Changing the colour of the text on the shield to black
• Changing the size of the shield bars and the swords (or the fonts) so the entirety of the letters fit in
• Changing the "The flamboyant cuttlefish present" to a different font - stencilled text like that makes me think of modern military, so it feels unsuited.
• make the II fully opaque. To me, the visible overlapping bits make it look messy.

Replace the shield image entirely. It's obviously blown-up from a low-res image and makes the entire picture look amateurish.

The simple crown looks nice. Next to the more complex swords and shield, the entire picture looks like a jumble of unrelated images thrown together. I'd simplify the swords down to a silhouette like the crown, and find a simpler shield.

Less important, I don't like the yellow-orange in the shield, since the rest is monochrome or red. (It's probably worth keeping in some form if that's his historical shield.)
