Today was my last day of work (for which they made me come in at 7 in the morning on a fucking holiday, who gets up on new years day and thinks "Hey, let's fuckin' go to the pharmacy!"...) There were no customers for at least 3 hours.

I've always liked these type of "finished sketches" (for lack of a better description.) there's something about the roughness about them I like.

It went surprisingly quickly (and is notable for being a front view that doesn't look unbelievably terrible), so i must be getting the hang of these dinosaurs. :U (also i might colour this later but for now i am SOOPAR TIRED)

I just make them up as I go along, I don't usually know what i'm drawing until i'm at least a few minutes into it.

I've got some older sketches from before i got my tablet, i could post some of those too if i can find them.

I tried my hand at a landscape last night.  I'm not entirely satisfied with the coloration, i may try repainting it from the sketch some time:

I feel like the landscape outside of the city area is too barren and grey, and i'm no sure how much i like the lighting, but this could be symptomatic of the other issue.

@Vactor, the colours could use to be a bit livelier (as is often the case when doing giant ass trees, everything seems to be lush), but the main issue I think is that the perspective is so different and so changing in such a small area, makes it feel wonky.Or it could all be an issue of shading and giving it some depth to emphasize what's important and make the background less noticeable. Clouds would do nicely here I think.
