I remember when I tried learning calculator coding. I gave up extremely quickly due to no motivation.
On the opposite end of the motivation spectrum, I've been on a roll lately with my potential secret project.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The first picture I spent... a little too long on, but it turned out nice! As for the second, it's a very quick sketch I did before going to a rather formal dinner.

>Try to draw jowls on the bear
>Suddenly vampire hippo
>NOPE NOPE NOPE

Although to be fair that was before I shaggied up the outline.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I quite like it. I swear I've seen that crest before, though.

Which one? I did use existing heraldic devices as references for all of them, except the eagle. Especially the lion.

The bear, dragon, and wolf mainly. I think what it was reminding me of was the Cahill family crest in the 39 clues series. Here's the different crests:

Now that I look at the two together, though, there's really not much resemblance.

YOUR SECRETS. REVEAL THEM.
The key word is potential in that sentence. I've been rolling this idea around for quite a long time, and I'm not sure if anything will ever come of it.

Without looking at the answers...

1) Armour boosted
2) Magic armour
3) Paralysed
4) Frozen
5) Burnt
6) Crippled
7) Poisoned
8) Bleeding

FAKEEDIT: Oh, they aren't all status indicators? I don't see how  frost damage is a status indicator.
I was maybe a little liberal with throwing "damage" at the end of all the effects. In truth, only fire and poison would be damage over time (physical and magical, respectively) and the others deal initial damage, and then apply different debuffs. In freezing's case, having the debuff would cause a roll to be taken each turn. If you failed the roll, you freeze for the remaining duration on the debuff (i.e. stunned). Having a higher intensity (the number in the corner) would increase the likelihood of freezing.

edit: yeah, looking at it again, some of my answers didn't really mean what I wanted them to. I've modified them for better clarity now.

Dwarves passing by get good thoughts from the mist of water and exploding felines.
Anyone of the equivalent to the royal bloodline in a nomadic group would have a sun tattooed on their hand, or a scrotum on their forehead (it's a little-known fact that fraternities are based off of long-forgotten tribes).

Spoiler: More WIP! (click to show/hide)

The world's largest biplane, with a maximum airspeed of no and a clean-lines factor of heck no. I'll clean them up later.

Also, that is some dense BBCode.

Tried something different. Basically time trials where I pick some reference, then draw what I can in the amount of time I have to listen to some random song I find on youtube. These were all done between 3~~5 minutes. From various still shots from Kill la Kill, figured I'd get some practice in drawing the human female figure doing some sort of dynamic pose. Also a quick head because I was running out of room.

I enjoyed this. It was fun. I think the general proportions came out well, and the time limit made me focus less on getting that one line curved exactly right and instead think about just drawing the thing.

In the future I think I'll switch my sketch colors around, the red lines of the framework stand out more than the blue "more important" lines.

Many tags in that spoiler. It looks messier in the edit box, though.

I pixeled this spaceship/fighter jet/thing.

Do you guys think...
a) it should have less green highlights
b) it should have more highlights
c) it has a good amount of highlights right now
d) it's really bad, so the highlights are the least of my worries
