In case you do ever move away from the round brush (which is perfectly fine, all the other brushes are there to either texturise a bit (which can be done with proper textures anyway) or to speed up certain things) here's what I currently use : http://jonasdero.deviantart.com/art/FREE-PHOTOSHOP-GIMP-BRUSHES-Explanation-348274576

Also I know the pain of moving to a smaller tablet, my current one is about the quarter of the last one, tho it has spiffy extra buttons which more than make up for that

Also also, pretty good cup, consider blending to make it look even smoother.

Ooo, these look like cool things! Now if only i could get them working on Gimp.
Also, the mug looks rather crude because i only spent like 15 minutes on it, would of course have blended it better if i were to use more time. This is particularly noticable around the various edges of the mug, where it's like a complete mess of colours because i didn't bother cleaning it up. :U

I never/rarely do drawings that are complicated or fancy unless I want concept art for a video game I don't know how but want to make, but I was readin' up on some post-apocalyptic rougelike and had a goofy idea.

That's pretty snazzy, although it could possibly do with some of those classic labels, or perhaps a bit more detail as to how the terrain is. Flat grassland? Hilly grassland? Dunes? All that fancy stuff, although i suppose it might not be strictly necessary. Still though, delicious details. :v

Well, it was a good dried blood color. Needs more red in it to be wet blood.

I just figured: it can't be dried blood, because the blood is on his fur and on the ground, and there's no way he'd be standing there long enough for them both to dry. So I thought perhaps it might be mud. It is quite a good dried blood color though.

WELL NOW, that's rather fancy! One could argue that the curvature of the planet usually wouldn't be visible at that altitude, but eh, semantics. Excellent scene. c:

One of the rare few times i've drawn ANYTHING facing the camera directly. The subjects usually look a tad to the side, and you can see that this guy still really wants to look to his right. :U
Also, one could argue that the head is a bit broad... But to that, i say T-REX. They actually have a fairly narrow snout in comparison to the rest of their head, since they'd otherwise not have very good front vision. Given that dragons are more or less airborne T-rexes with a really bad temper (and a penchant for stealing princesses), i think it isn't too far off to loosely base their heads upon their extinct counterparts.

That right wrist is absolutely terrible and I may have to totally redraw it; which would conveniently allow me to redraw his axe which is supposed to be facing away from the viewer but just looks really small.
